CHAPTER 13

I found myself humming the song I had been telling Katy about back at the hayride as I swept the floor. I had finally perfected the chords a few days back, so I would be playing it tonight.

My thoughts were interrupted as I received a text, I groaned when I saw who it was from, Ryan, again. I sighed seriously what the hell was with this guy? I had moved away almost five months ago and yet he was still talking to me. I ignored the text and continued sweeping.

I had been cleaning around the house for the past half hour, my mom wanted the place to look nice for
the jam tonight.

I received several more texts from him within the next 20 minutes and finally could not take it anymore
and decided to just deal with him but instead of throwing my phone at the wall and swearing loudly as I wanted to do I would just tell him a little white lie.

Ryan: Hey

Ryan: What's new?

...

Ryan: Did you see my latest post on G+?

...

Ryan: Wow I am talking to some pretty strange people right now.

...

Ryan: I see you changed your profile pic again.

...

Ryan: It's cool.

...

Ryan: Are you looking forward to the holidays?

...

Ryan: Christmas is just a few weeks away!

Ryan: Hey you want to do a video call?

...

Raven: Hey Ryan, umm well we are doing a jam tonight, no I have not sorry, umm cool I guess, yeah I do
it every week, mm thanks, yes I am because with Christmas comes mistletoe so I am hoping to finally get
a kiss from my boyfriend! Teehee :3 and no sorry I am cleaning right now but I can still text.

Ryan: Oh

Ryan: Who is your boyfriend?

I paused and tapped my chin. Hmmm ok now who would be a good fake boyfriend? I thought. Let's see I
couldn't just make some guy up since I talk about all my friends constantly so he might find it suspicious if some random dude just pops up out of nowhere and sweeps me off my feet. I snorted. No it had to be a real guy... Hmmm I suppose I could say it was Leo, I had definitely mentioned him before and it's not like Ryan would ever meet him anyway let alone see me again so... I grinned mischievously.

Raven: Teehee oh he is just the sweetest most amazing guy I have ever met!!! He is really cute too... :3 Teehee his name is Leo I think I told you about him before right? :D

Ryan: Oh

Ryan: That's great Raven really I'm happy for you and yeah you told me about him...

I quirked an eyebrow. Wow he was taking this well. I thought. Truth to tell I had actually always thought
he had a bit of a crush on me...

Ryan: Bye

Ahhh there it was. I thought and I bit my lip. Poor guy but I really just didn't like him like that.

Raven: Aww thanks!!! And ok bye! :3!
