Their future

Chapter 3:

Every single person at the party were staring at me. I could feel my cheeks blushing. My hands never left uncovering my mouth and my eyes were scanning Peeta and the ring. Peeta frowned and put his lips together. "Katniss?" He asks. Everyone was holding their breath expecting me to say yes. My breathing hitched and I removed my hands from my mouth. "I..." I stammer. "I..." Peeta stares at me waiting for an answer. I could feel tears streaming my face. I inhale and exhale slowly wiping away tears. "I don't know..I." I let more tears stream down my face and I run pushing past the crowd. "Katniss wait!" Peeta screams. Everyone's jaws dropped. I open the double doors and run outside. "Katniss!" Peeta's screaming becomes faint as I run into the capitol woods. "Where the hell is she going?!" I could barely here Haymitch. I turn around to get a glimpse of what was happening behind me, but all I could see was Peeta standing there with his mouth open and looking heart broken. He sank to his knees and screamed one more time. "Katniss!" I wasn't paying attention to what was ahead so when I turned my head I banged my head hard against a tree and fell to the ground. I then blacked out.
