Chapter 57:

Peeta and I got dressed as fast as we could and ran to Haymitch's house, which was right across our house. As soon as we got there Peeta began knocking as loud as he could. "Haymitch!" he screamed. He better not be drunk, I thought. With one last knock the door creaked open by itself. "What the hell?" Peeta mutters as he steps inside. I follow him through the darkness, calling Haymitch's name. The only thing we heard was our echoing footsteps. Suddenly, Peeta stopped and I stumbled against him. "Katniss be quiet." he told me. I did as told and waited. The lights then turned on all of a sudden and a line of peace keepers were waiting there. "Peeta..." I began, my heart racing. "Run!" he screamed and so we turned to run.... But then gun shots went off and Peeta fell to the ground.
