Chapter 56:
The peace keeper only stared at me and slowly took the arrow out of his armor. It clattered on the floor and stained it with blood. "What do you want? Why are you here?!" I yell. "I- I had orders to come here..." He groaned. "And was one of them to choke my husband?!" I pulled the arrow farther back. "NO! Wait, please let me explain," he said. "There is an uprising in the capitol, many people have died, and they're after you. I had to come get you..." "Then why the hell were you hurting Peeta?!" "He startled me!" the peace keeper's voice shook. "Katniss," I heard Peeta say. "What do you mean an uprising," he asked. The peace keeper then took off his mask and smiled at both of us. It was a creepy one that sent chills down my back. "We want to kill you," with that I released the arrow right into his chest. My heart contracted with sudden fear and I dropped the bow. "Kat?" Peeta gasped. "What does that mean?" I ask him. Peeta took a deep breath and shook his head. "I don't know but we need to prepare... and that has to be now."
