Jan POV
"Dammit!" Merl cursed as he turn off his phone.
"W-what happened??" Mari asked.
"Jared and the JSS are following us. Let's go faster." He ordered.
"Okay." Dwayne nodded and sped up.
"Let's go to my house and get into different cars then split up so that JSS would get confused." He suggested.
"That's a good idea." Mari nodded.
Dwayne sped to his house and we all went to their garage.
7 sports cars were all lined up perfectly.
"We'll meet at Luke's beach house." Fran announced.
We all agreed.
"Let's go." I grinned.
Fran and Luke got into the green sports car.
Angela and Merl in the red.
Dwayne in the blue.
While Mari and I in the white.
We all started our ignitions and sped away.
"Luke's beach house is about 50 minutes away." Mari said.
"That's enough time to loose them." I smirked as we did a sharp turn.

We were stuck in a red light when Mari's phone rang.
Caller I.D.- Jared
Mari looked over at me.
I sighed deeply and nodded.
She hesitated for a bit before she held the phone to her ear, wrapping her left hand on my right hand.
I listened carefully to their conversation.
(Mari-M Jared-J)
M- Y-yes?
J- Come back to the church. Now.
M- No.
J- We're driving around town looking for you guys. If you won't tell us where you guys are the situation will get worse, darlin'
M- Then come and find us.
J- Gladly. But I don't really have to put much effort in looking for you guys... Since I can clearly see you in this situation.
I saw Mari froze.
"Mar, what happened?" I asked.
I then noticed her stiff gaze at the side view mirror.
I glanced at the mirror to see a car exactly at our back was Jared's.
We both froze.
"O-okay..." I breathed and got ready for the green light.
"Baby, Mar, I want you to ignore Jared's car and hold unto me." I said calmly.
She nodded and wrapped her arms on my right arm possessively.
"By the count of three I'm gonna speed away, okay?" I ensured.
"Ok-oka-y..." She held onto her seat tightly.
"One....." I looked at the side mirror to lock eyes with Jared. He had a sinister smile on.
"Two.... Threee!" I shouted as the green light shined.
We sped away going through randome streets. Doing anything to just get rid of them.
When we arrived at the highway cars were very rare to see. Even though it was like 6 in the afternoon.
"Isn't that Dwayne's car?" Mari pointed to the car beside us.
