Mari POV
Waking up in the hospital surely isn't a good sight to see.
I sat up and observed my surroundings.
"Francis.." I shook him. He was beside my bed, sitting on a chair, sleeping.
"Huh?" He mumbled as he woke up.
"Why am I here?" I asked.
"Huh? Oh! Yeah... Uhm.... I think I'm not supposed to give you that information... I'll call Jan." Francis said as he stood up.
Jan. Jan... Jan! JAN!! The kidnapping scene! Oh my gosh! My inner exclaimed.
"H-how long was I asleep?!" I asked-shouted as he was about to open the door.
"5 days." He muttered. I sighed.
"So you mean next week will be my 21st birthday? And I missed school?" I asked.
"Yeah, pretty much." He nodded. I sighed frustratedly.
"I'll call Jan now." He muttered and left.
"I can't believe I missed 5 days of school. Seriously, Mar?" I scolded myself.
"Knock knock!"
"It's open." I called.
"Mari?" Jan spoke as he poked a head out of the door.
"Jan!" I exclaimed.
"Are you okay??" Jan asked immediately as he ran to me.
"I don't know... I guess so.." I answered.
"Damn, I was so scared." He muttered softly as he hugged me tight and caressed my hair.
"What happened? Why am I here?" I asked.
"Your brain disease.." He muttered, looking down.
"What do you mean?" I asked curiously.
"Your brain disease is getting worse. The doctor prescribes you to wear your glasses more often and think less."
"Ugh." I groaned.
"When can I get out?" I asked.
"Tomorrow, I guess..."
"Okay."

"Miko, I'm fine, okay? You don't need to hold my arm whenever I walk." I rolled my eyes.
"Okay, okay." He muttered.
"You're under protection from now on, Mari." Merl said.
"Under protection they said." I rolled my eyes again.
"C'mon!" Marcelo shouted while dragging me to the circus.
"Yeah! C'mon!!" Fran squealed, clinging to Luke.
My brothers and their girlfriends (except for Marce), the 7s and I are actually in the circus.
"Tell me why are we here again?" I asked as Miko paid for the tickets.
"Because it's Marcelo's birthday." Miko answered.
"I mean why the circus?" I pouted.
"Because Marcelo likes the circus." Merl said. I whined.
"C'mon, it'll be fun." Jan winked as he placed an arm on my shoulder. My heart melted.
I gave in and walked inside. We took a seat on the center.
It has been a week and everything's been pretty okay and normal. Except for the fact that I'm now wearing my glasses again. And the fact that our company and Jared's company are having a fight for Jan's company.
But anyways, two more weeks before my 21st birthdayyyyyy!! November 21st to be exact. And a couple more months before I graduate Marketing!
And I think I have been less colder than before which is really weird for me.
"I hate clowns." I muttered.
"Awww is little Mariana scared of clowns?" Jan teased.
"Hn." I rolled my eyes.
"Don't worry, I'm here to protect you." Jan smiled.
"Oh really?" I teased.
"Really." He stated proudly.
I leaned in, attempting to kiss him. I brushed our lips together. And as he was to open his mouth and kiss me I pulled away.
"Tease." He muttered.
"What was that, Wood?" I asked.
"I love you." He muttered.
I blushed 50 shades of red.
"Uhm..." I mumbled looking away for him to not notice my blush.
He chuckled lightly and pecked my cheeks.
"I love you." He muttered again.
"I know." I tried to act cold.
"No answer?" He pouted.
"Okay, okay! Iloveyoutoo!" I shouted quickly.
"What was that?" He asked.
"Iloveyoutoo!" I shouted fast again.
"Speak slowly." He demanded with a pouty face.
"I-love-you-too." I spoke rather slowly.
"That's my cherry." He hugged me.
"Cherry?" I asked and gave him a weird look.
"Cherry- cherry blossom. Or you want me to call you sakura?" He asked.
"Blossom's nice." I smiled.
"I'll call you raven." I stated.
"Raven?" He asked.
"Because you have pitch black hair which looks like a raven's feathers so I'll call you raven!" I smiled.
"Okay, four eyes." He smirked.
"Shut up." I shrugged.
"Make me." He dared.
"Okay then." I said as I kissed him. He was shocked but then he kissed back after a moment.

Sorry for the short chapter. I just didn't know what to write anymore. But hopefully I'll update another chapter by Tuesday or Wednesday. I update every 3-4 days. Next chapter would be Mari's birthday. Mkay bye!
