Chapter 2
"So..." Mable started whilst patting Sapphire's back for comfort. "You're telling us that you got kicked out of Beuxbatons because you nearly killed a teacher?"
After that little scenario Pansy and I made inside the cafeteria, I went back to this room and told them the story of what happened back there. I informed them about all the things that I told Pansy right after they were gone.
Right after I gave a nod to Mable's question, Sapphire, with her eyes all puffed from crying, asked me a question, "What did the professor do to you?"
"She badmouthed my parents," I explained. "Though the headmistress thought that I did it for no reason that's why they kicked me out. And after all, I bet that the professor would just lie about it. So, I just accepted that transfer request here in Hogwarts,"
"That's absurd!" Mable commented. "You should have told them the truth. What did she say about your parents anyway? If it were my parents she was talking about, I would have done the same thing!"
"I wanted to get out of Beuxbatons," I answered. "Even though I have a few friends there, I still hate those girls who think everything in the world is about beauty and grace. And I hate the professors. They all hate me for a reason that I don't even have an idea about. I believe that it has something to do with my parents, but who cares anyway? I'm out of there. And as for what the professor told me about my parents, I can't tell you. Sorry about that,"
"It's fine," Sapphire sniffled. "At least you opened up to us. And thank you very much for what you did,"
"Hey," I winked at them. "What are friends for?"

As we were on our way to our first class, I felt a hand grabbing my arm from my back that made something inside my stomach stir. Sapphire and Mable noticed that I stopped walking so they stopped too, "I'll bring her to our first class, you girls go on," two of my new friends looked at me, waiting for my reply. Even though I didn't turn around to look who it was, I already knew that it was him. His voice was too familiar for my liking. I nodded at them and they walked away from us.
I turned around to come face to face to the infamous blonde. "What do you want, Malfoy?"
"How did you know my family name?"
"You didn't answer my question," I pointed out rather harshly. I was glaring at him, and he didn't even bulge from my glare like any normal person would. I noticed that his hand was still holding my arm so I pulled away from him.
"I'm here to apologize for Pansy,"
"I don't need your apology, Malfoy," I spat the words like they were made of poison. "I want to hear it coming from the evil witch herself,"
"You're asking for something impossible," he shook his head. Why did he have to apologize in place of his girlfriend? I didn't need an apology. And most importantly, I didn't need an apology coming from him. I didn't know why, but there was something inside me that needed to hate Draco Malfoy.
"Why do you hate me so much?" he asked. "No, why do you hate the world so much?"
"I don't hate the world, Malfoy," I stated. "I just simply hate people like you and your girlfriend living in it,"
"Okay. Why you hate Pansy, that, I understand. But hating me? There's no reason for it,"
"Being together with Pansy is enough to make me hate you,"
"She's not that...bad," I noticed that there was some hesitation behind his voice when he said that.
"Do you even like her?" I raised an eyebrow at his statement.
