Today! Today was the day that Jack and Alex is going to see the greatest band ever! To say Jack was excited was a total understatement. Zack already threatened to hurt him and burn all his copies of Home Alone and it wasn’t even ten am yet.
‘JACK! WILL YOU PLEASE SHUT UP ABOUT ALEX?!’ Zack yelled at Jack for the billionth time this morning.
‘NO I WILL NOT! I JUST WANNA MEET HIM!’
‘So do I but please shut up or I will hurt Macaulay!’
‘You wouldn’t dare, Zachary!’
‘You wanna bet!’ Zack walks over to the DVD player and pulls out the Home Alone disc and shows Jack.
‘DON’T YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT IT ZACHARY!’
‘Will you stop talking about Alex?’
Jack thinks for a minute. ‘Ugh fine. Just put Macaulay down safely and walk away slowly.’
Zack puts the disc in the DVD case and walks away from it. Jack runs over and grabs the case and holds it close to his chest, ‘It’s okay baby, he didn’t mean.’
Zack rolls his eyes at Jack, walks over, grabs his water bottle and finishes it. ‘Are you ready yet?’
‘I’ve been ready since I got up!’
‘Oh so you’re going to the concert and meeting your lover in your Hershey Kiss boxers. Good to know.’
‘Shit!’ Jack runs up to Zack’s room and tosses his clothes on and runs into the bathroom and starts on his hair.
Twenty minutes later, Jack is bouncing down the stairs, hair perfectly messy like he always has it and wearing his black Blink with white bunny shirt, black skinnies and blue Converse. Zack had been ready for the last hour, in his Fuck Cancer tank, black skinnies and red Converse. Zack grabbing his keys and heading towards the door, Jack grabbed his cell and the tickets from the table and they both went out to Zack’s car.

Jack read through his timeline in hopes Alex would be on but he hadn’t updated since this morning around three. Jack really hopes he sees Alex tonight. He just really wants to meet the guy he can’t stop thinking or talking about.
Alex’s voice. Jack wishes he could hear it twenty-four seven for the rest of his life. Jack has never been like this when liking someone, normally he just flirts with the guy and gets his number, and then hang out. But with Alex it’s totally different, he’s getting to know him and fall in love.
Yes, love with Alex.
He’s talked to Zack about this. And they both decided that Jack in slowly falling in love with him. Zack is kind of nervous about it because he doesn’t want his best friend to get hurt by some random guy he met on a chat site, of all places. But Zack is being a good friend, except when he’s threatening to hurt Macaulay, he lets Jack talk about Alex and what is going on in his head. And Zack’s been there through every break up and he’s just nervous mostly. But enough of that stuff they’re going to see ‘the greatest band to ever exist’ as Jack would say.
They arrive at the venue, six hours before doors even open and surprisingly there’s only two people waiting. Jack started bouncing in the seat when he sees the marquee above the venue BLINK 182 SOLD OUT TONIGHT ONLY!
