Happy birthday to a cutie @wannahaveswag. Hope you have a better day.
As Alex read the tweet, there were so many possible things he thought of that he could do. Thing is, he was too scared to do anything. He was afraid that anything he said or did would mess up things even more. Should he say thanks or a flirtatious reply stating that Jack was cuter? The boy just sighed and do the best thing he could think of; he signed out of twitter and shut down his laptop, not leaving a reply, retweeting and or favoriting the tweet, or doing anything that made a simple acknowledgement that he indeed saw it.
Lying down in his bed with the covers over his shoulder, he checked his phone to find 'happy birthday!' messages from various people. He felt too lazy read the messages completely and reply so he just locked his phone, put it back on the charger, and went to sleep hoping his birthday would be better than he thought.

It's Alex's birthday and instead of doing something fun and exciting, he managed to get stuck with Rian at the supermarket, grocery shopping for his parents. Don't get him wrong, he's fine with hanging out with only his best friend on his birthday- that's what he planned on doing anyways; parties were too exhausting to plan- but they've been at the store for nearly thirty minutes. You see, Alex is the type of person that gets slightly impatient with almost everything and can't stand being in the same place for more than a certain amount of time. You'd think that type of thing would drop as he got older but he still can't help but to get whiny from time to time which is now.
'Rian, how long does it take to pick out cheese? It's all cheese!' Rian just rolled his eyes and finally decided on the type he wanted.
'If you stop whining about everything, I'll buy pizza and you can open your presents from me when we get home.' It was apparently enough to shut Alex up because they soon got to the checkout line and out the door without a single whine or complaint from the older boy. They ordered the pizza as Rian promised, Alex placing the order under Robert because he likes to mess with Rian, and drove to The Pizza Plaza. Rian made Alex go inside to get the pizza and of course he whined about it because it's his birthday, he should make Rian do all the work.
Standing in line, he looked behind him to see who else was in line and saw two people. The girl directly behind him had on a black and white Blink hoodie. 'I like your hoodie,' he complimented. She looked down at it then looked back at him smiling.
'Thanks! I know you seem familiar and now I think I know. Weren't you at their concert on the second?'
'Oh yeah, I was there. I probably saw you and forgot or something.'
'I remember you cause you bumped into me and my friend and I thought you and your boyfriend were cute together.' Alex was going to inform her that he doesn't even have a boyfriend but then he knew exactly what she was talking about.
'Oh no that's not- I'm not-'
'It's okay to be gay!' The girl said it a little too loudly, receiving a weird look from the guy behind them. There was suddenly someone in front of him telling him he was next. He told them the order name, paid, then went back to talking to the girl behind him.
'I was actually going to say that I'm not his boyfriend, not I'm not gay.'
'Oh, I'm really sorry. But I don't see why you're not with him you seem perfect for each other.' Alex didn't know how to respond so he was glad when their conversation got cut short by him getting his pizza.
'So, what's your name?'
'Jane.'
'I'm Alex. I guess I'll see you around then. Thanks.' She knows why he said it so she just nodded before getting her own pizza. Alex walked back to the car and got in to ride back to Rian's house. When the boys finally got there, they went straight up to the boy’s room with drinks and started digging into the pizza. They had music on too so they had to talk and sing with mouths full of pizza. It may sound gross but that's just a regular day for them.
