Suddenly, Alex hears Jack’s phone ring. Uh, I gotta take this Lex, just a minute.
He silently nods even though Jack couldn’t see him and decided to sort the clothes that needed to be washed while he was waiting.
Hey what’s up?...Just talking to Lex…Zack shut up…Haha yeah for real I’m in…Call you later.
It wasn’t long before Jack was talking to Alex again, snapping his consecration. Hey sorry about that. Zee says hi and we need to meet up soon.
I know but we will eventually. Maybe I’ll have a song to sing to you by then I mean not like that but like yeah kind of in that way I mean you asked and I don’t know I’ll shut up sorry.
No please don’t shut up, Alex. Before he could even respond, there was a call of Jack’s name. Uh I’ll be right back be right back my mom wants me. The shuffling and footsteps waking away indicated that Jack had left. Alex got up and found one of his notepads he had in the basement. He kept them all around the house just in case he had an idea for some lyrics. Flipping through it, he saw some lyrics from Six Feet and smiled as he remembered when he started it. Alex stopped when he came to a page that was never finished. He went back in front of his laptop and started thinking about additions to it.
I’ve just been talking to Alex. He lives in Cockeysville and he’s so cute and perfect, mom. Jack’s voice talking about him grabbed his attention. Just the way he would tell his mom about Alex made him think that he truly liked him. His thoughts soon were soon scribbled out under the rest of the song’s draft. If I had you, I don’t think I’d know what to say.
Hey sorry I’m back.
Have a nice talk with your mother, Jackary?
Yup I did.
Interesting. I wonder what made it so nice.
I wouldn’t have any idea.
Uh huh. Alex’s dog came down the stairs to eat from his bowl that was on the floor at the bottom of the stairs. After he was done, he went to Alex’s leg, wagging his tail, and then sneezed. Bless you! My dog sneezed, aw. He petted Sebastian before he ran back upstairs.
But hey sorry I gotta do this but I gotta go and eat dinner sorry Lex.
Ahw man you’re leaving me already. No just kidding it’s fine. Go eat and then you better do your homework.
Bye Alex. Text ya later and don’t’ forget to charge your phone.
That was one time! Haha okay bye.
As Alex ended the call, he let out a long sigh. There was so much that he had realized in one conversation. Sure, he'd met Jack; he'd met Jack a couple of times to be exact. When the boy started talking about the 'concert boy' and what they had done, it came to Alex's realization that he'd been taking about him. Jack just didn't know it.
And all the other times Jack mentioned some mystery boy, either to Alex or on his Twitter, he was too oblivious to realize he's the one he'd been talking about. He felt bad for not even making Jack aware of the fact that they've met twice now, even when he talked about how he was going to Alex's area and they could meet for the first time.
Even still, Alex was nervous about properly meeting the other boy. That's why he had to try keeping his cool and not revealing himself so hopefully, Jack wouldn't realize it's him if they "meet" again. He knows his throne of lies that he sits will eventually fall and he'd come in harsh contact with reality and the truth.
