After a night of a super-king bed all to myself, I woke up like a starfish with the most un-attractive face. It must have been gone midnight before me and Aston eventually hit the hay, actually, it was later than that considering it turned out to be a boozy night in.

Jumping in the shower before I made an appearance this morning I made myself look more presentable in some jeans and a vest, scooping my hair up in a messy doughnut.

"Morning," Aston smiled already tucking into some corn flakes at the breakfast bar.

"Morning, you're about early," I replied.

"It's eleven," he giggled checking his watch.

"Oh."

"Have you got a hangover?"

"No" I laughed quietly. I do feel a little rough.

Flicking on the kettle I checked the cupboards for some bread, then milk and then bacon.

"Where has this food came from?"

"I popped to Tesco's express this morning."

"Oh, sorry. I was going to go shopping today sometime. How much do I owe you?"

"Nothing, I don't want any money, just cook yourself some breakfast," he smiled.

"Thank you, I will get myself sorted."

Making myself a bacon sandwich and a cup of tea I sat down beside him upon one of the stools, his mug of tea in one hand and the TV remote in the other. I really do have to get back on track, Charlie's gone for two weeks, that's too long to mope around doing whatever the day brings, but I always let him get to me.

Starting in the kitchen with a satisfied stomach I watched Aston rummage through a basket of screwed up clothes now looking like rags and then scurry back into the bedroom half-naked. Moaning like a typical female he tried on numerous outfits from the ironing basket he still hasn't put away in his drawers, it's quite amusing to be honest.

"Don't laugh" he frowned. "I'm usually more organised than this."

"Well this is 'just' a date," I continued to tease.

Pulling out a pair of faded jeans he looked to me for approval.

"Do you want some help?" I asked.

"Are you busy?"

"These can wait, trust me," I giggled. "I knew my year at topshop through university would come in handy."

He just rolled his eyes.

Looking through his clothes and folding them back up in neat piles I picked out a couple of shirts, a pair of chino's and some jeans, all looking like they've had better days. Heating up the iron I sent Aston to try on the jeans whilst I smartened up a navy shirt, it's not the first time i've helped a male in the wardrobe department.

"Babe, they don't fit," he said walking back in kicking them off his ankles standing in his boxers.

"Aston!" I laughed.

"What? He's covered," he shrugged.

Smirking he tried on the chino's.

"They're hot."

"Sorry, what? They're what?" he teased.

"Stop it!" I laughed. "My boyfriends best mate is standing half naked in front of me, this is not okay."

"You're boyfriends not here."

"Aston.." I mumbled with a cheeky grin.

Slipping the freshly ironed shirt over his shoulders I stood back letting him adjust himself.

"How do I look?"

"Pretty damn good."

"Well if I don't get laid tonight I'm blaming you."

"You're welcome Aston," I laughed.

"Nah, cheers babe," he giggled.

After touching up his hair and aftershave Aston soon set off for his lunch date with a girl I can only imagine to be a gorgeous blonde.

This is where my day gets boring and lonely, despite the kitchen sparkling clean, I still have rooms to clean and a trip to Tesco's to make, so grabbing my jacket I followed him out of the house before I could put it off anymore.

Meals aren't usually our priority, we tend to go for the food that either go ping or can be frozen considering how many times a week we're all out for dinner. Loading up the trolley with some fruit and vegetables I thought of a few basic meals I could make and brought what's needed, I'm no Chef Ramsey after all! As I walked down the isles I started to think back to last night and this morning with Aston, he's always been a flirty guy but just now he sounded so much more daring, it would be quite interesting to know what's on his mind actually. I do love Charlie, In a way I can't even understand why, but I do, it's just our relationship lacks excitement, something with Aston seem's to have bubbling inside of him.
