Bree's POV
It's almost two in the afternoon and the sunrays are almost weakened. Just in time for my adventure for today. Lesser chance of getting my skin burnt. Feeling comfy with what I'm wearing, I hop off the last stair of the hotel to the gutter like a little child. I take a deep long breath and release it. Armed with my purse hanging from my left shoulder to my right hip and my camera, connected on both ends with fine fabric hanging on my neck, I think I'm ready.
"Okay so where should I go first?" I ask myself. Sydney is well known with the Opera House so I think it's fair to visit it first. But on a second thought, maybe I'll try trusting my feet wherever it may take me.
I think I'd enjoy more walking. I don't mind though and I should also take pictures of everything on my way to anywhere, I'm not sure. A parade of yachts on the bay, resting on the docks catches my attention just across my hotel. I saw the sight last night but I was damn tired to even get my camera out. It is more of a heavenly sight at the day though, paired with the deep blue sky and the sea. My dad should see this and that and everything because everything was just really beautiful here. I just feel amazing. I think nothing could ever go wrong today. I literally took pictures of random things, sights and random people while travelling on foot; kids having fun while skateboarding, biking. Young couples walking together hand in hand, eating by the restaurantand a family sitting by the bay area. Young adults showing off their Jet Ski skills and few couples kissing under broad daylight are just some caught by my camera lens. My wristwatch strikes 4:05 PM and I'm really satisfied at what everything looks like. Every photo is breath-taking. I can't wait until Dad sees these.
Few minutes of walking, I reach a row of souvenir shops just across the not so crowded street. I walk into one and check some stuff out. There are key chains, necklaces, shirts and various accessories. Then I see a little kangaroo stuffed animal on the glass storage, I think I should buy that for Dad.
"Uhm, miss? How much is this little kangaroo?" I inquire to the saleslady, pointing to the little thing inside the glass storage.
"That's 6 dollars Ma’am" She replies.
"May I have two, please?" That would be one for me and one for dad. So it's just like we went here together.
While the nice lady is preparing the stuff that I ordered, the door chimes as two teenage girls walk in to the small store. I overhear them whisper-squealing at each other, talking about some cute guys in a boyband. I didn't really mind them but the store is really narrow not to hear what anyone is talking at a small distance. I just continue looking around stuff inside the store that I might find cute.
"Oh my God! I can't wait for their concert and their meet and greet. I heard they carry their fans when asked. I'll ask Harry to carry me. Oh my God!" The first girl exclaims in excitement.
"Oh me too! I want a picture where two of them are kissing me on the cheeks.” The second girl remarks, more excessively than the first.
"Oh no!Me too. I'm so excited!” Answers the first girl; both of them squealing inside the shop, like they are the only people inside. It is a bit annoying but cute.
They just carried on their conversation as the saleslady hands my stuff. I put it immediately inside my bag and head towards the door and leave. By the second they mentioned the name "Harry", I knew already that they were talking about One Direction, a famous boyband from London. Almost every teenager is talking about them. I'm not that fond of them but most of my friends talk about how they look cute and handsome, that their music sounds really good, dating celebrities and a lot of rumours about them that I could only care less. My best friend, Evonnie, even saved few of their current songs in my iPhone but I rarely play them. I knew all their names because of her. She's a huge fan and I just find her cute enjoying their songs and even convincing me to like them, so both of us could fangirl over them. I smirk with the thoughts of her smile. I really miss her.
