Chapter 12 – Hangovers & Headache’s
Julianna’s P.O.V.
Noëll’s room was bright as I slightly opened my eyes and looked around. Last night we just jumped into bed, forgetting to close the blinds. I had no idea how late it was, and the last part of last night was a big blur. I remember seeing the others fall asleep in weird positions, but that was it.
The time on the alarm clock said 9:16, and I grinned slightly. Enough time to go back to sleep.
‘Waaaaaaaaaaaake uuuuuuuuup’ someone yelled in my ear. The voice echoed through the room as I scratched my nose, before dozing off again. Unfortunately for the person waking me up, I was used to this kind of wake up calls. Noëll on the other hand jumped up like a scared cat and landed on the foot of her bed. ‘God. Xander. That’s not funny’ she screamed, before letting her body fall backwards again.
‘Hahahahah, Oh my god. That was hi.. la.. ri.. ous’ Xander breathed as he laid on the floor next to my bed. I slightly opened one eye as I looked down at him, and couldn’t help but keep a slight grin from forming on my face. He was curled up in a ball, tears streaming down his face as he laughed silently.
Xander kept laughing for a few minutes, before sitting up again.
‘Ah Jules, you’re no fun’ he whined, as he saw my sleeping self. I mentally face palmed myself. He should’ve know this.
‘Xan, old news. Jules is.. well weird. And hard to wake up’ Noëll said and I felt the bed dip beside me.
It took a while before they actually woke me up, but when No screamed the word breakfast I was up like lightning. Nothing woke me up faster than food.
After eating breakfast together, and cleaning up the mess we made last night, Xander drove me home. And like any other car ride we spent together, we had a conversation that lasted the entire way, over who was the bigger dork.
I won, obviously.
Of course my parents weren’t all too pleased with my headache and hangover, but after 3 minutes after my entrance my dad disappeared into his study, and my mom found Jacob to praise about. Except for Thomas, the rest of the family left me alone. And the quietness was a warm welcome, especially with my headache.

The rest of the weekend pasted in a blur. After recovering from the drunken party at Noëll’s, I spent my entire Saturday on my room. Thomas was running around the house, but the lock on my door kept him from ruining my room. Jake made an appearance once, checking up on me and bringing the perfect hangover food: Taco’s.
It was now Sunday morning. The sun was lightly shining and I had thrown my balcony doors wide open. The commotion downstairs was loudly hearable and quickly I made my way down to get some food. My stomach growled loudly as I entered the kitchen en quickly I started making a sandwich. I had done it so many times, it had become more like a second nature to me. Even blindfolded I would be able to make a sandwich.
