Having a substitute on the first day back was a blessing.
It meant we didn't actually have to learn anything.
The sub asked us to each to write down something from our bucket list for a writing exercise.
He joked and told us it was so he could have some ideas for his own bucket list.
I'd never really even considered the prospect of a bucket list.
I spent half of class trying to come up with something.
"What did you put," I asked Violet.
"Get married to someone rich," she said.
I decided I could be extremely unrealistic with my answer. I wouldn't get to do it anyway.
Bucket List
1. visit all 50 states
Mr. Christensen,
Will you please try and make it to my funeral? It will be near the end of December of this year.
R.S.V.P. to my mother.
