Tj POV

So today was the day of the APMAs, well I was already at the event. I felt kind of nervous and worried because of certain people here.

Well to be precise my old band Motionless In White where here, the band I was kicked out of. But I wasn't worried about coming across the band the most. I was more worried about bumping into Chris.

Me and Chris used to be together when I was in the band and I was such a dick to him towards the end before I was kicked out. I just didn't give a shit about the band anymore....it took me a while to mature to realise I lost my friends and the man I loved...well....still love.

I was currently hanging out in the corridor of the building where the vent was taking place. Craig had walked off the talk with other band members but I wasn't in the mood to socialise.

That's when I heard someone talking and laughing but it sounded too familiar. I looked for a second to see Chris coming down the corridor although he seemed too oblivious to notice me.

I panicked and ran into the restroom hoping he wouldn't follow me. Breathing in and out I felt like it was becoming more difficult to breathe.

I gripped onto the sink as I felt my breathing become shallow as I thought about everything with the band and Chris.

I began to hyperventilate and struggle to breathe. That's when I heard someone walk in.

My vision was kind of blurred because of the panic I was in but I could tell it was Chris. "Tj?" He asked.

"Hey Tj!?" He called rushing over to me, grabbing hold of my arms and turning me around so I was facing him. "Focus on your breathing" he said calmly.
"Slowly" he said breathing in and out slowly as I copied him as he kept hold of my wrists.
As I began to slowly inhale and exhale I could feel myself begin to calm down and my breathing began to go back to its calm state.

I looked up at Chris who gave me a soft smile. "You ok now?" He asked. I nodded my head "y-yeah I think so...I don't even know what happened"  I responded.

"Thanks" I said before going to get up and walk back out. "Wait!" Called Chris grabbing my wrist.
"Give yourself a couple of minutes before you go back out, I'll stay with you" I nodded my head before sitting down next to Chris on the floor.

We sat in silence for about five minutes, it was a comfortable silence as my mind began to wonder what I could say.

"I-I'm sorry" I muttered breaking the silence between us.
"What?" He asked
"I'm sorry for everything I put you and the band through...I stressed you guys out and I was a completely dick when we were together" I continued.

Chris nodded his head looking down at his hands "yeah...you where...and it hurt but not as much as getting over you" he said causing me to look up with surprise.
"Y-you're over me?" I asked to be honest it hurt a little but at the same time Chris does need to move on...well I do too.

Chris chuckled a little "nope!....and it fucking sucks...are you?" He asked. It caught me off guard he still has feeling for me?.

I shook my head biting the inside of my lip "no...no I'm not" I confessed. Chris' eyes widened with surprise as he listened to my confession.

I began to feel a tear trickle down my face. I quickly wiped the year from my face and quickly got up as my voice came out like a whimper as I could feel myself begin to cry. I didn't want to feel this pain and I'm sure Chris didn't want to either.

"I-I should go...I should go" I said walking toward the door.
"B-break is almost over and Craig is probably waiting for me an-" Chris quickly turned me around, pressing his lips against mine.

Both of his hands cupped my cheeks and I held onto them as I kissed back. I didn't want the kiss to end. As we let go Chris rested his head on mine.

"I still love you Tj" he whispered looking into my eyes.
"Maybe we can work something out" he said.

I nodded in agreement before he wrapped his arms around me. I closed my eyes, burying myself into him as I knew this won't be the last time we see each other.
