"All those awful things..."

The day was as usual. Or at least for Aki. Seven was busy harassing the two boys in her hungover state complaining about her headache. But she was also more sane when she was sobering up.

"You guys need to leave if you're going to make it to school on time." Seven said. "Unless you're taking the car."

Sam looked at her then to Aki and the male wasn't any help just sipping the steaming liquid from his mug while the brunet looked confused.

"So~ Cutie." Seven changed topics since Aki was being stingy and not responding. "What drew you to this idiot?"

Sam wasn't sure how to answer. He noticed the raven haired boys eyes flick to him then back to whatever he was staring at. "I don't know. He was different."

Seven just raised a brow at first not saying anything.

"What?"

"I wasn't expecting just 'he was different'." She said dropping her voice to imitate a males. "I mean look at him! He probably had the girls drooling over him."

"Girls who drool are gross, Carly." Aki put in before checking his phone.

Sam just smiled. He could understand that, the look of disgust that got on Aki's face when the girls persisted to get close to him was rather entertaining to watch.

"Oh come on Zero you know you like the attention." He rolled his eyes at her words.

"Give me the keys." He said putting his cup down. Seven just smiled and threw him a key ring that he caught with ease. "We should head out." He said and glanced at Sam before put the mug in the sink and went to grab his bag. Not that it had anything useful to him in it.

"Okay." Sam said and picked his up from the chair he'd placed it in when he came out of the bedroom. "See ya, Seven."

"See ya cutie." She said giving a wave. "See ya, kid."

"I'm not a kid." Sam heard Aki say from the doorway.

"Ok fine. See ya, asshat." Sam just smiled. They reminded him of siblings with how they were acting towards each other.

Once out the door Aki sighed an pulled his hood up on his head.

"She seems nicer in the morning."

"She's just a pain."

"So her name is Carly."

"Yep."

"How did you find out?"

"She jumped me drunk and whispered it in my ear last year."

"Does she know yours?"

"Depressingly, yes."

Sam laughed. Yeah, they acted like siblings at this point, from what he could tell, and what he'd seen. He hadn't seen much so this could be a rare occurrence.
