"Your stone side seemed to crumble a little more every time it was just us."

Aki wasn't sure what came over him. He did know that his feelings were growing for the smaller male but he didn't think he'd go as far as this.

He took Sam's chin in the palm of his hands, turning his head so their lips would meet in the middle. And he kissed him. It wasn't a quick peck or a passionate but it was a kiss. At first he felt Sam just not react. But when he did Aki continued for a couple more seconds then pulled back and looked at him. Sam's eyes fluttered open to look back at him.

His face was flushed and his golden brown eyes seemed to stare straight through his own duel colored eyes.

They looked at him with a question. Aki pulled back. Sitting across from him in the treehouse.

"W-... Why?"

Aki looked at him and shrugged. He had no clue. All he knew was his heart was beating faster than it had been all day. And al the time he'd been here besides when he was in the gym.

"You kissed me." Aki nodded. "Why?"

"Was there something wrong?" Aki asked. He had no clue why. He wanted to say why not or don't think to much into it but that would be rude. And it might make the other angry.

"N- no. But..."

"Don't worry about it..." Aki said. Looking to the side.

Sam's eyes widened. He shook his head and moved from the wall. Cautiously he crawled across the floor up to Aki. Hovering over his legs he met him in another kiss. "Don't tell me that. I can't not worry about it." He told him. Aki watched his eyes, they were so close right now. "Please," he pleaded, "tell me it meant something."

Aki just stared into his eyes. He watched Sam as his eyes went from watching Aki's eyes to his lips.

"It meant something," he told him, "I'm just not exactly sure what at this point."

Sam nodded. He couldn't bring himself to move. "That was my first kiss."

Aki couldn't help it. He smiled. "I'm hoping it wasn't your last." He whispered as he leaned off the wall and into Sam's lips again. This time the boy reacted more quickly. His mouth moved against Aki's like it was natural for them. They fit in the kiss like puzzle pieces. For some reason, he didn't know why, but it actually did make him feel something more than just contact. How many people had he kissed before this? Yet, none of them actually struck him like this one had.

And when it did break, Sam was still bright red, and they just stared at each other for a minute till Sam scooted back and say on his legs. It wasn't really an awkward silence at first. As it started heading that way, Aki moved first. "We should get going." He said.

Sam didn't know where he meant but he nodded and followed him down from the tree house. Aki stood at the bottom waiting for him.

"Do you need to go home for anything?" Aki asked as they headed for the park exit.

Sam shrugged. There wasn't any specific reason other than he needed to get something different to wear. "It wouldn't hurt to go home." He said quietly, not really wanting to go. It was more an empty building than a home. But it's where he returned to.
