So the quotes at the beginning are a little foreshadowing. You will all hate me at the end so if they don't make sense with the chapter at first, it will all be clear at the end I promise.

"You were the only one who didn't look at me like I was a freak. Well, besides the girls..."

It had almost been a week since Aki got here. It was a boring town, which meant he hadn't gotten hurt yet, not really, just sore. That was to be expected even so. It was Saturday. It was also 5am. He was up and down in the apartment complex's gym. His arms pulling the rest of his body up till his chin touched the bar his hands held. Then back down till his arms were at a 90 degree angle.

After a few more reps, he let his feet hit the floor. He sighed grabbing the bottom of his shirt and wiping his face off. He hadn't sweat that much but still he felt gross, he definitely needed a shower when he got back to his room.

His muscles were fairly defined after he'd done his workout. It was a requirement he stayed in shape. But he enjoyed going to the gym and working off any frustration, annoyance or whatever while he was there. Reaching in his bag he took out a couple ace wraps to keep support his hands as he wandered over to the punching bag hanging in the corner of the room, by the mats for doing more on the ground kind of work.

Raising his hands in front of his face, his feet shoulder width apart, maybe a little more, he bounced a couple times before letting a couple small pinches go. They shook the bag but it hardly swung. Once his little test on it, he twisted his hips and locked a hard punch on the bag, forcing it to the side. Twisting the other way, he locked another hit throwing it back the other way.

Boxing wasn't his favorite style but it would be questioned if he did any other kind. At least it wouldn't be questioned to hard considering how the woman behind the front desk was staring at him.

------------

When he finished in the gym, he again, wiped the sweat from his face, grabbed his bag and turned to leave. As he passed the front desk he gave her a half smile and she brightly smiled back at him until the elevator doors closed.

The smile dropped when he was alone. He wasn't happy so why fake it for himself. There was no reason to in his opinion. He wasn't sad or angry either. He was just there. He was there for a job and that was it.

Back in his room he dropped the bag and stripped out of his gym clothes and got in the shower. The hot water felt great on his back. Beating against his shoulders and rolling down through the drain. This assignment should be easy. He should be in and out and done. On to the next one.

Sam woke up and stared at the ceiling. He was pretty excited to go see this movie with the girls. It had only just come out and he had wanted to see it.

Getting up, dressed, all the morning routine hygiene things people did in the morning, he went downstairs and paused at the bottom of the stairs. His dad was just walking out the door. His mom probably still upstairs in her little study.

He sighed and went into the kitchen, ate a bowl of cereal, put his dishes in the dishwasher and then went back upstairs to grab his phone, jacket and shoes.
