Days and weeks passed. My leg was slowly getting better and I was almost able to use a cane in physical therapy. My gym routine with Mike continued. We both kept getting stronger and stronger. He continued to pick me back up every time I fell, even when we both knew I could get back up myself. Even with all the things that he went through, he was so unbelievably sweet and so caring towards me especially. Mike was also super protective of me. He became the one who pushed my wheel chair around the school instead of Kiera. It was really convenient because we had almost all of our classes together. Sometimes Mike even came to physical therapy with me. He would walk next to me while I practiced using a cane so he could catch me if I fell. And when I went to physical therapy with him, we both lifted weights together. The relationship we had was great I just wish it was more.
Just another filler but still. Wait until you see what happens next!!! ~Katie
