When we got to the hospital, we rushed to my mom's room to see them beginning to place her in a body bag. I heard my grandmom asking what had happened to my mother, her daughter. The nurse said that my mom had a seizure and that caused her to go into cardiac arrest and once her heartbeat stopped, it never came back. When she arrived at the hospital, they couldn't find anything. No heartbeat, no breath, no brainwave. My mom was gone. So now, on top of never being able to run again, my mom was dead. I couldn't even cry. I was just too sad.
Sorry that once again this is a short chapter. I'm glad that Isabelle in my story isn't a real person because that would be so awful if something like that happened in real life. It's also awful because she just lost the two most important things in her life: her mom and running. ~Katie
