Roxy swallowed a gulp and blinked the daze off. He was that ridiculously aggressive guy whom she wanted to hurt. She had been such a fool. Well, she hadn't even known him so maybe it was normal for her to curse him so much. Donovan looked cool and collected. Roxy was afraid that her vulnerability had totally taken over her expression and he was enjoying it. She breathed out.

"You're Donovan?" Roxy forced the words out of her mouth. Her voice trembled a little but it was barely noticeable. In fact, it wasn't noticeable at all.

"Yes," He laughed, "I'm Donovan. Who are you?"

"Did you guys meet each other before?" Max asked.

"Sort of, yes, we did," Donovan said without looking at Max. All he was looking at was Roxy. He stating right into her eyes. Into her soul. That kind of scared her. She could see the coldness and aggression in his piercing eyes. A part of her wanted to fear him for no reason but her better part encouraged her to be fearless. Her 'fear' was irrational. Donovan wouldn't eat her up, unless I mean it in some other way.

Donovan looked away and said, "See you boys later," With that he made his way through the boys to the other side of the room and kept the rod that was tied to his back ninja-style. Then he turned around to go out of the pit. All the guys went back to what they were doing and Roxy was fixing her fingerless gloves. Suddenly she felt a hint of warm air against the side of her head just above her ear, "And you, too, princess."

"Sure," She said like it was nothing at all and heard Donovan chuckled.

Max had  now come to join Roxy for her boxing lessons and he showed her some punches and blocks. She tried those on the punching bag.

"Make your fists hard," Max ordered. She cracked her fingers and gripped nothingness hard. She punched the bag and it almost shook Max.

"Well done," He gripped the bag and set it in the position. They trained for hours and Roxy was just so into it that she didn't even realize how time flew away.

The boys and Roxy were out in the streets since Collins decided that roaming around wouldn't be a bad idea. Plus, Roxy needed to know each and every alley around the town. Again, Xor, the stray dog, should be friends with her too.

"So, who's Xor, you're talking about?" Roxy asked Collins, who was lighting a cigarette.

"He's a stray dog," He paused before correcting himself, "No not entirely one. We took him in but he comes around whenever he wishes. Like part-stray, get it? He's flawlessly trained too. Might be a runaway, but he's ours now."

Roxy had always liked dogs and this Xor seemed super cool to her. She walked by Collins as the other guys jumped and messed around like kids. The twins were having a nice thumb-fight and they would groan and hit their fist down against the concrete pavement each time one lost. Quintin and Bunny were randomly talking about how highschool queens these days would go out with geeky guys and ditch them on-spot just for fun, while Earl kept laughing like a parrot.

"And cute guys like us are losing importance," Quintin grinned, "I mean I heard they make out too. These girls should have a nice taste, just like they have their faces."

"Everything that glitters isn't gold," Earl jumped in, "Nerds are better. They actually know what love is."

"Actually," Bunny said, "They know what a theta is."

"I hate math," Collins mumbled and Roxy chuckled silently. She too hated math. According to her, any sane person would hate math. Sure, all those mathematician personalities were part-insane.

"I like the shy ones," Bunny smiled, "They're so pretty when they blush away everything you say."

"Someone's getting a bit romantic," Quintin frowned.

"Nah never mind," Bunny laughed it off, "I'm not romantic."

"Don't know about romanticism but you, sure, are bromantic," Quintin hugged him cheesily. He laughed and pushed him off. Quintin stumbled a bit and burst out laughing. Roxy smiled too.

"Wasn't I right," Quintin asked, "Roxette?"

She jumped a bit hearing her name and turned to Quintin, "Yeah?"

"Yeah? See, she agrees, too," Quintin winked at Bunny.

To be honest, that yeah was like asking did you call me? Roxy shrugged anyways. Bunny gave defeated smile.

"I WON!!!" Kian shouted. The boys and Roxy turned around and Kian looked blankly at them, "Was a little loud. Or not?"

They kept silent. No one smiled or anything. That was awkward.

"Was. . . " Earnest squeezed his shoulder.

"Give us another heart attack and you're toast," Collins rolled his eyes.

"I'm hungry," Earl said, "Let's go to Philippa's Yumzie."

"Yup," Roxy said, "I'm hungry too."

"Well, if you're hungry, you're gonna love that place," Kian smiled, "It's epic."

"Philippa's Yumzie, it is!" Collins smirked.
