So it was party time. The clock stuck 9:30pm and the crew dispersed to their own rooms to get dressed for the Haber party. It'd been a long time since the boys have attended a Haber party. Obviously, 'cause he had been out somewhere dealing with some new kind of drugs and other addictive products. Anyways, Lord Haber (watch out for the irony in the name) loved the boys and Max was a close friend of his.
Roxy quickly slipped into her outfit and pulled on the jacket. It was cold out there so the jacket was convenient. She wore black translucent stockings that on, in case the crispy wind would do things to her legs. The DMs fitted her perfectly. After getting dressed she put on three silver-golden chains, a couple of bracelets and rings too. All she got left was her hair. Now this was the tricky part. Roxy, unfortunately, didn't know what kind of hairstyle would look good with this outfit. I helped her.
She looked in the mirror and an idea lit up inside her head. She took hold of the hair brush and brushed the messiness into straightness, and pulled the thick blue black hair into a messy bun. Two-three locks remained suspended in front of her face that she pushed behind her ears. Nah it didn't look good. She pulled a thick lock from behind her ear and let it hang freely across the side of her face. Now this was something. Her makeup was richly done with smokey eyes and sparkling glitters in occasional areas on her face. Credits go to Night Fairy Glam Set. She was ready so she picked her way down where the boys would be waiting.
"Goddamnit!" Quintin breathed out when he saw Roxy climbing down the stairs to the pit floor. The other guys who were chatting, looked her way.
"Damn, right you're killing it," Bunny grinned. Roxy blushed and joined the crew.
"Thanks," She beamed at them, "So, who's up for the party?"
They cheered in unison and made their way out of the pit.
The night was cold. Wind gushed through emptying streets. Collins led them to a garage and pulled up the shutter. It revealed a badass shining black BMW all in its grace and beauty.
"Ain't that Max's BMW?" Earl noticed.
"Yeah I talked to him about this party and he said I could take his BMW for the night," Collins grinned, "How do you even think I got the keys, anyways? Hop on, people."
After taking it out and shutting down the garage, Collins started the car with a boom and raced to the Vulkanitium. It was actually the name of the party venue. A large building that Andrew Haber owned. The ground floor was used as the partying area and the first floor for some privacy for the party-goers.
Finally they reached the spot. Hints of party lights gushed out of the entrance where neonfly bulbs lit up the gate. A muscular man of Belgian race stood with folded hands. He looked scary with black gelled hair with bright orange tips that spiked up vertically. He wore a tight black shirt and ragged camouflage jeans that made him look like a general. He head tattoos all over his body and piercings, obviously, housed his perfectly sculpted face. The crew got off the BMW. Many kids lined up to get inside. They were all restless and excited. Roxy wondered how they'd get inside. It'd take a piece of forever to do so. But Collins, instead of going all the way behind the crowd, walked straight to the guy followed by the other guys. Roxy followed them too.
"Hey, Six," Collins smirked at the Belgian guy, Six, "'Sup, man?"
A big grin spread over Six's face and he half-hugged Collins, "Collins, man, so long. Quintin, Bunny, Earl, Earnest, Kian, waddup guys? You don't even show up,"
"Here we are again," Bunny ran his hand through his hair.
"And," Six's eyes fell on Roxy, who was quietly standing like a good girl, "Who must you be, young lady?"
"Hi," She smiled a confident smile, "I'm Roxette, a . . . uh, newbie?"
"Yeah, gotcha," He winked at her, "Slip in, kids."
He unclamped the hook attached to the fibre rope that guarded the way in and let them pass. An annoyed groan rose from the crowd and Roxy chuckled.
They walked into the night club.
Electronic music blasted through the air and neon lights heated up the place. People were having a good time. Smell of wine, drugs and cigarettes floated in the air.
"Let's have a shot," Bunny suggested and they made their way to the counter. Roxy took a quick sharp sip and her mind went dizzy. Everything looked blurry but then it was normal again. She felt light and quite happy. Like, in a mood.
Blood On The Dance Floor blasted at a random speed and it went loud. Kids were dancing with it swaying their hips and occasionally taking a swift jump as if in a vital recharge exercise.
Roxy knew she would have a good time.
