With new courage and energy, Roxy walked her way to the washroom, washed her face, and took a quick bath. She wondered what time it was and where the boys were.

The pit. Obviously.

Getting refreshed and newly chilled, energy pulsed through her veins. This thing was clear to her that life was gonna be this way; confusing, sometimes painful and unsettling. But if it was this, then she'd suck the best out of it.

Life's a game and there's no turning back.

After the shower, she put on fresh clothes. She wore a dark t-shirt with bold graphics on it, a ripped skinny sea blue jeans and DM boots as always. Pulling her hair into a knot, she ran her way down the stairs straight to the pit.

The boys were training just as always. The clock on the rough wall stuck 2:56 pm. She'd slept all day. But it didn't really matter now.

"Guys!" She called out as she entered the pit.

"Roxette!" Collins spotted her, "Are you okay, now?'

"Yeah," She smiled, "I'm great. Just a bit of dizziness."

"Sure?" The guys gathered around her.

Except for Donovan, who was by himself throwing knives at a targeted position.

"As hell I am," Roxy sounded determined and the boys cheered.

The cheering was cut off by a cold laugh. Donovan's laugh. They turned around to face him. He had a cold and sadistic smile on his face. Sure he was sadistic. His looks screamed out the fact.

"Did you take adrenalin, little girl?" He chuckled.

Roxy didn't always get angry at stuffs like this but something about this guy just pissed her off. Like she wanted to take him to Amazon for a date and throw him into the chasm of death. As funny as it sounds but quite as dangerous.

"What do you want?" She asked him through gritted teeth and a cringed forehead.

"Oops!" Donovan put on a pout and made puppy eyes and said, "I 'accidentally' angered the Mafia Princess. Please don't get me executed. Pwease?"

The guys chuckled behind Roxy but she was busy glaring daggers at Donovan. Then it clicked.

"See I wouldn't get your arse executed if only you stop rubbing it against my matters," Roxy smirked looking at Donovan's change in expression. The boys burst out laughing and 'woo'ing at her witty comment.

"Since when did you become so witty, though?" Donovan wrinkled his nose, "Well, a girl doesn't usually push off my arse like that but it's you so I ain't surprised."

"To be clear," She cleared her throat, "I'm no different than those girls but it's you, so I'd rather be different."

"Savage!" He let out a cold laugh and scratched the back of his neck, "We've been a good influence on you, I see."

"Pretty good," Bunny added.

"My brothers agree," He continues, "So, is it that only your tongue has sharpened and not your skills?"

"See it for yourself," Roxy straightened and Donovan gave his signature sadistic smile.

He stands a few steps away from her, facing, staring straight into her eyes. So does Roxy. They both glare daggers at each other. The boys knew this was gonna get ugly, but they did hope that Donovan wasn't too depraved. Sure he liked to make trouble and see his competitors in agony, but this time, they hoped, he would be cool.

But the scene didn't go as hoped.

Roxy threw the first punch right on his jaw and he stumbled back. Old trick; always works the best. In return, Donovan swang his fist and hit her below the ear. Roxy's right hand flew to the area and she dodged a second punch from him. Moving a little bit away, Roxy steadied herself.

Then she did something that totally surprised the whole crew.

She spun around and momentarily swang her leg in the same rhythm hitting Donovan in the neck. Of course, she didn't have a good landing. Hitting the ground, she groaned in pain. She'd twisted her ankle.

Meanwhile, Donovan crashed against the floor. He groaned. The boys were all too fascinated by her move. That probably was some sort of judo style.

Collins, Bunny and Earl rushed to Donovan, whereas Quintin, Earnest and Kian ran to Roxy. Donovan held a hand saying I'll manage and got up himself and brushed off the dust. Quintin helped Roxy up. She too brushed off the dust.

"How the heck did you do that?" Quintin asked, bewildered.

"It was fabulous!" The twins exclaimed together.

"Fabulous?" Donovan snorted, "She almost broke my neck!!!"

"But you asked for it!" Roxy protested.

"Didn't."

"Did."

"Did not."

"Did!"

"Shut up, girl."

"You lose anyway," Roxy gave him a smirk. Sort of sadistic. Tit for tat.

"Like I even care," He scratched his chin, "Tell me; were you Elektra before you ended up here?"

"What's that?" Roxy asked.

"Marvel hero," Quintin said.

"No," Roxy said confused, "But why would you think I was some sort of Marvel hero?"

"The kick, Elektra knows it," Donovan laughed, "Just messing around, Rosette, don't take it in."

"Roxette," She corrected.

Donovan turned around to leave and yawned a whatever.

Sure this guy easily got to her nerves.
