chapter three:

*a few hours later *
Emily's pov:

We finally got out of the hospital and Caleb took me to his house. We had pulled in and tears were all over me. My face was red and so were my eyes from crying so much. We walked in and Caleb softly closed the door.

" EMILY!" the girls yelled running to me.
" hello girls." I said hugging them wiping my tears away.
" what's wrong?" Annie asked

as Annie asked Katie and billy walked in.

" Emily what's the matter?!" Katie yelled running over to me.

I tried to answer but I kept getting choked up on tears.

" mom, Hayley, Annie, dad Emily's mother passed away. " Caleb answered tearing up.
" oh my gosh! Allison? but she was extremely healthy, wasn't she?" Katie asked
" she had a undetected.. heart condition.. it was called... Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.." I answered
" Emily I'm so sorry I can't believe this happened." Annie said
" yeah I'm really sorry we will all miss her." Hayley said right after Annie.

" Emily we are deeply sorry for your loss I will always miss her she was my bestfriend." Katie said wiping her tears away.
" yes Emily we are very sorry for your loss. " billy said

I walked to the couch a few minutes later, Caleb sat beside me. I got out my phone to call my grandparents in Kansas to ask if they would let me live with them.

" who are you calling?" Caleb asked
" my grandparents I need a place to stay I can't live alone." I said
" hold on don't call I will be right back." Caleb said.

Calebs pov:

" mom can I talk to you?" I asked
" yeah what's wrong?" She looked at me with tearing eyes.
" well Emily doesn't have anywhere to go except her grandparents house in Kansas do you think she could.. you know... stay.. with us?"
" yeah Caleb of course.. I was already planning on that." my mom said
" thank you I... just don't want her moving so far away.."

I walked to Emily on the couch and sat next to her.

" Emily I have something to tell you."
" yes?" She looked up at me
" you are gonna be living with us now."
" Caleb you don't have to do that."
" we want you to please?"
" Caleb of course I am so happy."

she started crying again and I wrapped my arms around her and she put her head on my shoulder. It felt so good I loved her I have loved her for a long time.

About 1 hour later we drove by her house and got all her stuff to move over to our house.

Emily's pov:

we pulled up at my house I packed everything in my room and my notepads of music I wrote after dad died. I also got my dog because she was coming with us. A few hours later were were done. We drove back to Calebs around 11:30 pm.

Everyone else was asleep so we snuck in and got some snacks and headed to Calebs room. I grabbed a pair of sweatpants, underwear, socks, and a sport bra out of my clothes we brought and i told Caleb I was gonna take a shower.

I took a hot shower, got dressed, and put my hair in a bun and headed back to Calebs room.
He was laying on his bed. Watching videos on his laptop I walked up to him and layed beside him. He closed the laptop and said.

" I'm gonna take a shower I will be right back I promise." He said hugging me.

I got on my phone and listened to some sad music as I cried. Now both of my parents are gone and I will never be able to get them back.
I thought about all the memories we had. then before I knew it Caleb walked back in the room.
He had on a pair of sweatpants too and he was shirtless. He looked really hot honestly. About now it was 1:00 am. We layed under the soft bedsheets and I whispered.

" thank you so much Caleb for everything."
" your welcome." he said giving me the sweetest hug.

Then I kissed his forehead and we fell asleep.
