{chapter thirty two}

Emily's pov:
I layed in darkness I wanted to panic but i was too weak. then a shining light broke up the darkness. and suddenly I was looking at myself laying on the gurney. was I officially done? was my life over? I started crying I was just a soul but looking down at my dead body. They rushed into surgerys and hooked me up to many machines to try to bring me back.

Calebs pov:
"what room is she in!" I yelled at the desk lady as she kept hiding her room from me.
" sir it's private until she is ready to go to a regular hospital room!"
" look lady I don't need to go in the damn room but can you just tell me the number!"
I could tell the lady was getting scared I was gonna hit her or something so she finally told me.
" okay okay sir it's room 886 but you cannot go inside! they are performing many things right now and if you distract them she could die!"

I just ignored her and ran hard.

" room 884,885,886" I read

I found her room and there was a little window I could look through to see her. they had just finished some surgery because she was getting stitches. but I noticed her heart and lung monitor were bad she was almost on a flat line. I began to cry.

I missed her. I missed dating. I missed everything. I wanted to start over with her I had been away from her for three years. and I finally found her again. I couldn't lose her. I wanted to start a life with her. I sat by the door crying for what seemed hours.

Then I Walked back to the waiting room crying. I couldn't look at her anymore it was to upsetting.

Emily's pov:

my eyes drifted open. it wasn't just a nightmare. it really happened. I was hooked up to many machines and i was hurting everywhere. i wanted Caleb. But he saw me as a ' friend ' now so it was no use trying.
