Emily's pov:
I woke up next to Caleb again. It had been a week and he hadn't left the hospital. I glanced at the little whiteboard on the wall and it has a section that said.
patient release day: today! :)
when I saw I was elated, I shook Caleb awake.
" Caleb Caleb!"
" what baby is everything okay?" He said and quickly sat up.
" yes! I'm going home today!"
" ahh finally you can leave this prison." He said kissing my forehead.
" I'm so proud of you baby girl." he added
I gave him a sweet kiss and looked at the clock.
9:25 am
We snuggled together, it was finally time to go. I had to stay for so long because of all the tests I had after surgery.
At about 9:45 the nurse walked in.
" Emily today is the day you go home!" the little old lady said with a smile.
" I saw I'm so exited!" I said as I sat up.
We got all my stuff together and went to the desk and checked out and we got in Calebs car. I was so exited to finally go home.
We pulled in the driveway. When i opened the door Annie and Hayley ran over and hugged me tight.
" hello girls I missed you!"
" hi Emily we missed you too!"
It felt good to be home.
*hours later*
Calebs pov:
it was getting late and me and Emily walked downstairs. She threw her shirt one the floor, I did the same. We turned on the tv and I held her close. She then kissed up my chest until she hit my lips. I grabbed her face and pulled it to mine. We kissed repeatedly. After a while, she slowly pulled away.
" I'm so happy to be home Caleb."
" me too." I said.
I put my arms around her and massaged her back. She quickly wrapped her arms around me and pulled me closer as fast as she could. Then she pulled me in again. But I didn't mind. Not at all.
