A/N: Hey so as i said before this may be inaccurate to the series so please don't kill me. the lines of the characters will also be changed sometimes. please don't kill me in the comments.

  "i'm sorry, but we can't work with you" a voice said L and Meiko looked at each other. then another voice said: "yes,we're finding it really hard to trust you" there was a silence. L opened his mouth to reply but the same voice spoke again. "but,we may be able to trust you if we were to meet L"  

   the girl looked at L and grinned, remembering the bet she made last night. or this morning because it was 3am . he let out a soft sigh and spoke. "very well then,watari" he ordered they could both hear Watari reply. he closed the lid of his laptop and leaned back. M looked at him rasing an eyebrow as if to say 'so' but she didn't, instead she reached out her hand and he handed her five macarons. she laughed and placed them on the small plate beside her that was once filled with small chocolate pieces. well that was until L ate them all while she went to grab a book. 

  M picked one up and took a bite from it. she stared at the monitor. the police task force were on their way to meet them. but in their case to meet L. So far we've theorized that Kira is a college student which raises L's suspicion for Yagami Light. How would they react when they find out that there has been another person working on the case secretly.the chief,Yagami Soichiro has not been told that his son has been the main suspect. 

  A few minutes later they arrived. after L introduced himself the others did. 

  "the name's Yagami, i'm with the police force" she heard him from behind a wall. that was the chief. the others continued after him. 

  "i'm Matsuda"

  "i'm Aizawa" 

  "i'm Mogi" 

  "i'm Ukita" 

  the chief then spoke again. "sorry we're late the five-" but he stopped speaking because the task force suddenly saw someone else approach them from behind the wall of the room. L asked her if the "dramatic entrance" was needed. and of coarse it was! she was a secret detective, she needed a dramatic entrance. 

  but the team didn't see a detective, they saw a beautiful girl that had long brown hair that had two strands of colour in them. the light blue hoodie and jeans made her look like a normal college girl. she walked passed L towards the group,reaching out her hand. 

  "i'm M, it's an honor to be working with you" she said, smiling.  Matsuda quickly shacked her hand. the others eyed her and she already knew what they were going to ask. "why have we never-" the chief didn't manage to complete his sentence. "heard from me?" she looked at him,smirking. 

  "Well Yagami-San to put it simply i've been working on this case secretly" Meiko walked back to L with her hands behind her back, standing beside him still smiling. that was a thing about her, there wouldn't be a moment when she wouldn't be smiling. well except during stressful times at work. or when she's really focussed. the two could see each persons sight switching from L to M. side by side, they didn't look the same at all. he was slouching all the time while she had a straight posture.he looked plain and she was just bright with colours. because of L's posture M was taller but if he were to stand straight L may be taller by a few inches.  it was like meeting two people named optimism and pessimism. 

  "now i bet you suspicion has been cleared"  M said looking at the slightly confused police officers. "if L were to be Kira all of you would be dead by now". she could see L's hands form a shape of a gun as if to do a "bang,bang" thing before she spoke. besides it was her idea! she would continue the rest of the script but he beat her to it. she turned around and walked towards the sofa and sat down on the armrest.
