when she woke up L was still asleep. she was about to wake him up but she decided to let him be. it wasn't like everyday he slept. she touched his forehead, he wasn't so warm anymore. then she touched hers. oh thank god she wasn't sick. she always hated staying in bed being sick and shivering. it was one of the worst feelings ever.

slowly, she put his head on a pillow and walked away, slowly closing the door. she was about to go downstairs to get a cup of water when a voice from behind startled her. "good morning shirayuki" she jumped slightly and turned around. it was Light. who seemed to have just woken up as well. his hair was in a slight mess. "light!" she said, hand on her chest "you scared the hell out of me!". Light laughed as he walked down the stairs. stopping a step before her. "sorry" he apologized, scratching his head.

they walked down the stairs and entered the kitchen. Watari offered to make a cup of coffee but she refused, Light as well. they had a short conversation. she realized that light was a really nice person in general. why was he suspected? she had forgotten. but his past behaviors were... different. maybe he was just stressed. she walked up the stairs again with light with an intent for a bath. before the two could enter their rooms she called out his name. he turned his head to her. she was smiling at him. it was the first time he had seen her smile at him. not a normal smile, to him it felt different. a smile that told him that she trusted him. that he was her ally, her friend. that her hatred for him was gone.

"so far, you've proved.. that.. you have contributed a lot to this investigation Light. thank you" he smiled back before they entered their room.

he closed the door behind him.he wasn't Kira. he knew he wasn't. but why was he suspected? he shook his head furiously. even though he knew he was innocent, it felt like, something was missing.

she scanned the names of criminals. the ones that Teru Mikami and Takada Kiyomi wrote n the notebook yesterday. they were dead. "they're dead" L said, hopping into his chair. "Takada Kiyomi and Teru Mikami are kira!" matsuda exclaimed, standing up. she nodded.

now, they just needed a plan. how would they catch them? how would they draw the killers to them. her eyes lit up and she looked at light, who had the same look. they turned to Matsuda whose face was filled with confusion. then slowly, all eyes were on him. Matsuda looked at team members one by one "what?".

"that's illegal!" they heard kiyomi say through the phone. it was the same reply that Mikami gave earlier when they called him. They were going to trick them both by saying that Matsuda was willing to sell the tapes. matsuda will first meet Mikami then Kiyomi and give them a fake ID. the task force members would then go to the Sakura TV station and force her boss to call kiyomi, telling her to switch the Television to sakura TV. Mikami on the other hand will be called by matsuda. once that is done, they will be watching a fake live broadcast about revealing Kira's identity. the two will intent to write Matsuda's fake name in their notebook. when he doesn't die, they will rush to the station.

the second Kira has mentioned something about "the eyes" which meant that she could kill by only seeing the face. they had to put on masks when they reach the location later on. matsuda left a few minutes ago to meet Kiyomi and Mikami. the team listened to his conversation with them.

"this is my ID, my bank account number is on the back of the card. i'll give you the tapes after you transfer the money"

"are you doing this with anyone else?" Mikami asked.
