I woke up the morning following my birthday, tears pushing their way out. It was just a dream, Nagi, I say to myself. I noticed something rubbing my back and turned around to see Michael propped up on his arm. I wipe the tears away and smile lightly. "S-Sorry, Mikey. I didn't m-mean to wake you up." He smiled back, kissing my forehead, "Was it a bad dream?" I nodded, wanting to explain it to him, but not wanting to relive it. "It was horrible. Y-you got shot and I-I couldn't save you. Oh, Michael." I leaned closer into him. My dream was so vivid that it honestly felt like I was living in it.

I was sat on the love-seat, waiting for Michael to bring over the hot chocolate he was making. I saw him start to stir in the powder and decided to show him my touch to hot chocolate. I stood up and walked over beside him, grabbed the cinnamon from the cabinet. He looked at me and tilted his head like a puppy. I just smiled and added a tiny bit to both cups, putting it away as he stirred it in. Without saying anything, we grabbed our mugs, careful to not burn ourselves, and sat back down on the couch.

I snuggled up next to Michael as he put his arm around my shoulders. "What would I do without you, Michael," I said with a smile. He couldn't see my smile, but I knew he could tell I was smiling. "Probably still be living with your dumb brother." I hit his chest lightly, giving him a dirty look, "Gavin is n- He isn't that dumb." Michael laughed and I rolled my eyes, laying back on him. "Don't we have work in like-" I checked my phone, it was 7:45am. "Oh shit. Michael we're going to be late." I stood up, almost spilling my hot chocolate.

I dumped my hot cocoa into a thermos, along with Michael's. I rummaged through drawers and picked out a pair of leggings and a long-sleeve, light blue dress. I took off my clothes and pulled on my leggings and dress. Michael was already dressed and had his contacts in. He handed me my glasses and I put them on, almost tripping as I stuffed my sock-covered feet into my boots.

Michael and I walked into the Achievement Hunter office holding hands. Our free hands were holding our thermoses of hot chocolate. I sat my thermos down and practically fell down in my desk chair. Only to be told to stand back up by Geoff, "We're filming 'Present with Comment' today guys." Em patted me on the shoulder, obviously knowing how physically tired I was. There was only four of us at the office today, other than Geoff, who were playing. It started with Gavin, then went to Em, followed by Michael, and ended with me.

The game went by fast with a lot of odd comments to it. Em won first place and I won second place. Michael and Gavin tied in last place. Em stayed late to edit the video. Michael was having to stay late to edit a video we finished yesterday in Minecraft. I swiveled around in my seat, waiting for Michael to finish. He was only a quarter of the way through and I took note we weren't going to be leaving soon. A few boring moments later, Em stood up and walked out with all her stuff. She must've finished editing, I thought.

Michael was half way done by now and I still had nothing to do. Out of total boredom, I pushed my chair further back from the desk and started spinning around in it. I started slow, not wanting to get nauseous, but sped up for the heck of it. Michael gazed back at me and chuckled, before turning back to his editing. I spun the chair around as fast as I could. I didn't even notice that the chair fell over until Michael had taken off his headphones. I gave him a thumbs-up from the floor and stood up, brushing myself off. I sat back down in my chair, after turning it back upright, and scooted back towards my desk. I laid my head down on my desk after many failed attempts at drawing realism. I eventually fell sound asleep.

I looked around and all I could see were miles and miles of trees. I heard someone yell my name and I jerked my head around. I didn't see anyone. I heard the voice again, this time turning a different way. I saw a figure in the distance that I couldn't quite make out. The voice did sound familiar, but I couldn't bring a face to mind. The figure was getting closer, I could now see what they were wearing. A grey t-shirt, sun-bleached blue jeans, and a pair of green converses. He was holding something in his right hand, but I couldn't make it out.

I looked closed at the figure's face. Curly auburn hair and glasses were all that I could make out. I immediately knew who it was. Michael. I started running towards him. I got closer and closer, but when I reached him, it wasn't my Michael. His eyes were bloodshot, his hair all raggedy, and in his hand was a knife, coated in blood. I look at him, terror filled my body. I tried to back away, but I was too slow. The knife felt like an icicle when it tore through my skin.

I woke up, throwing my head back, almost tipping the chair over again. The dream was so vivid I could actually feel the pain. I looked over at Michael who looked as scared as I was. His desk was cleared and his monitor was off. "Shit, sorry Mikey. Didn't mean to scare ya." I stampeded out, quickly standing up. He slung my bag over his shoulder, "What the fuck just happened?" I shook my head, "You don't want to know." He shrugged and kissed my forehead, taking my hand in his. I took my freehand up to his cheek, turning him to face me. I planted a light kiss on his lips, giggling when he blushed.

As we walked to our car, I waved at some of the employees that had also stayed late. I opened the passenger's door and got in, tugging on my seatbelt. Michael tossed my bag in the back before putting on his seatbelt and starting the car. "You and Gavin sound a lot alike." Michael spoke up. "Oh really?" I questioned, the only way Gavin and I sound alike is our accent. "Yeah, you just act more American than him," Michael joked. I shrugged, letting out a laugh. He wasn't wrong.
