Chapter 14: Permission?

Ally's POV:

Austin was currently sitting on the piano bench in Sonic Boom, watching me pace around the room, freaking out.

I just couldn't stop babbling!

"I mean, come on, for Jesus Christ it's ONE DIRECTION! They have more fans than a lot of the past boy bands had all together! They have achieved great things that no even the BEATLES have! And then they go and ask us on tour! What the hell?! They were about to give me a heart attack! And then don't forget that they asked me to write a song for them. Oh. Lord. At that point I needed an oxygen tank. I'd be really self conscious singing in front of them! Oh my gosh, Austin! What about Trish and Dez?! How will they react about everyth--"

"ALLY!" He shouted.

"Yea?"

"Shuddup." He said, exasperated.

"Alright then." I said sitting down.

He then took a deep breath, trying to process everything that I just said. If he could, that is.

"First things first Ally. You have to actually ASK your Dad first. My parents said yes yesterday when I asked. That is the first step, asking for permission. Alright? We'll deal with everything else later. And about how we're going to tell Trish and Dez.... Honestly, I haven't thought of that. But being our friends they will support us through it, I'm sure." He spoke calmly and efficiently, unlike me.

He was right. I mean, about the permission part. I knew had to calm down already.

"Ok. I'm gonna go ask...will you come with?" I said shyly.

He smiled. "Of course!"

I stood up, heading towards the door, very slowly. As I was descending the stairs, my nervousness was growing.

What if my Dad said no? What if I wasn't even going to be granted permission to go? That would be the worst! I was shaking, and apparently it was obvious.

I felt his warm hands hug me around my waist from behind, his chin on my shoulder.

"You're gonna be fine Ally. As long as Im here you'll be fine." He whispered in my ear, sending chills down my spine. God, I wanted to kiss him so bad.

But, I had a task right now. So, turning around, facing Austin, I kissed his cheek. I then started towards my Dad, hoping for the best.

And I really did hope I could go.

This is the chance of a lifetime.
