*****A/N I'm so so sorry for anyone who doesn't celebrate Christmas. Jada is Catholic and Ryder is too , so they both celebrate Christmas.*****

We never did go to that party on December 5th. Ryder is doing well. My father visited once this month. I just arrived in Texas. It's weird that my room is just my dad's guest bedroom now. On another note, I have about 3,000 dollars saved that I made from working this month. I plan on using some of that to buy furniture if my dad lets me stay in New York. My rent is up on January 1st. That's when I find out whether I stay or go.

Oh my gosh! There's Ryder! I mentally screamed as I ran outside of my dad's house.

He hugged me.

"Jada! I missed you!" He exclaimed.

"I missed you too." I stood on my tiptoes to kiss him, but he backed away.

"I'm sick. I don't want to get you sick." He added.

"I don't care. Kiss me." I tried to kiss him again.

"The baby isn't getting sick so neither are you." He answered.

I sighed and pouted.

"I go to the doctor's again at the end of next month. Will you come to New York for a gender reveal party?" I asked excitedly.

"I don't know if I can. Plane tickets are getting expensive now." He stated. "Look at that. You've got a little bump going on." He pulled me into him and just hugged me.

"I don't want to get sick." I pulled away, slightly upset.

I went to the doctors two weeks ago. So when do I tell him we're having triplets?

As I thought about how to tell him, he noticed the look on my face.

"What happened? What's wrong?" He worriedly asked.

I started speed walking towards the barn.

"I want to see Camille." I demanded avoiding the subject, but possibly coming up with an idea.

He chased after me and walked with me to the barn. Quickly, he brought Camille out.

"She's grown so big." I said to him.

"She missed you, Jada. We all have." He said as the calf stuck by my side.

"Ryder, do you see how she's just one cow?" I asked.

"Yeah, and?" He asked.

"Well if there were three of her—"

"What's the point?" Ryder cut me off.

"What I'm trying to say is we're having triplets, Ryder." I looked directly into his eyes, because their reaction says it all.

"What?" He asked, baffled.

"There are three little babies in here." I pointed at my stomach.

He sat down onto a hay bale. "Triplets? As in 3 babies? So when did you plan on telling me?" He questioned.

"I was waiting until I saw you in person. I've only known for two weeks myself." I answered. "You're the only one who knows."

He seemed surprised as if I couldn't keep a secret.

"We have to tell our parents." He jumped up.

"I've got it covered. I bought three pairs of identical white baby shoes and white outfits. I already wrapped them and put 'To: The Family From: Ryder and Jada' on the present." I answered.

"You're perfect." He responded.

That voice just makes me melt.

"Well what are we waiting for? Let's go have lunch." I calmly answered.

He agreed and we went over to his house to eat.

"Oh my gosh! Jada, look at you!" Emily excitedly exclaimed, referring to my baby bump.

I hugged her. "Hey, Emily."

We all ate lunch, then we decided to each pick one gift to open because none of us could wait until later.

I chose a medium sized box, Ryder chose the biggest one there was, the rest of the family chose the big one that says 'To: The Family'.

"Why don't you guys pick another one?" I asked nervously.

By the look I received, there was no way they were choosing another. They all began to open the present. I nervously held Ryder's hand.

Emily realized first and she threw her hands over her mouth. I thought my dad was going to puke or pass out, and May and Adam slowly looked at each other with the same reaction as my dad.

"Surprise!" Ryder exclaimed. "We're having triplets."

He gently squeezed my hand awaiting the responses.

I was wrong. My dad was crying, not puking. I couldn't tell if they were happy tears or not. My fake smile began to fade. May started to cry too, but those were definitely happy tears. Emily could not stop smiling and shrieking.

Adam got really pissed. He grabbed Ryder by the arm like a child and dragged him out of the room. I followed quickly, but slyly. I was expecting some kind of ass whopping type shit, but instead, he hugged his son and cried, extremely excited for there to be three little grandkids.

Ryder and I decided not to open our presents until later.

Then later, after Christmas dinner, we opened every last one. I got a bunch of money and some baby things like one of those big pillows that pregnant women like to sleep with.

As I opened my last present, or card I should say, my whole mood changed.

The card said, 'I love you munchkin, and by the looks of it, you're responsible enough.' Inside was a check for all of next month's rent, not just 85% of it.

"Dad, I can't accept this." I answered.

"It's a gift, non refundable may I add." He responded.

I chose to accept the rent and still work both jobs to pay for my furniture. Ryder agreed to come stay with me for June and July, around when the babies will be born. Then, he's hopping straight into the workforce, farming just like his parents. Also, as weird as it is, he told me last week he was offered a job at Google beginning next September. He would have to commute to Dallas, but he'd make about 150,000 dollars a year there plus the 60,000 from farming. The total salary just for him is 210,000. In 5 years, that's over a million dollars made just by him.

Anyways, I stayed in my old room with Ryder for the night. I cuddled my brand new pillow and realized I needed an extra suitcase for the things I got. I was willing to pay for the extra fees on the plane to take my gifts back home. I didn't want this day to end, but I was leaving at 6am. Although Ryder was sick, he still slept in the same bed as me, so how sick could he actually have been? I forced him to give me a goodnight kiss before I went to bed.
