The next morning, the doctor informed Ryder and I that the triplets could go home.

"Well that's great! Let's go." I stated getting out of bed.

The doctor stepped towards me.

"Actually, you need to stay. Your blood pressure isn't nearly where it should be and we can't let you leave until you're healthier." The doctor told us.

"That's preposterous I'm going home." I said once again getting up.

"You're only a minor, you need a parent to check you out of the hospital." He responded.

"Why can't he check me out?" I asked pointing at Ryder.

"You two aren't related." He argued.

Angrily, I called my dad.

"I'm sorry sweetie, but if the doctor says you need to stay then you need to stay." He stated. "It's for your own good."

I rolled my eyes and played the but daddy card. He refused to come, but my grandma called. She overheard and the same thing happened to her once and she would come check me out.

"Thank you, Grandma." I responded and hung up.

"Is she coming?" Ryder asked.

I nodded.

"Are you sure you shouldn't stay?" He questioned.

"Of course! I'm not letting you go to my crowded apartment with the triplets and not me. Plus, in a few days you're going back to Texas. Aren't you?" I asked.

"Well, about that. I was thinking, you love New York and I love Texas, and we want to be together to raise the kids—" He began.

"Spit it out. Are you staying here then?" I excitedly assumed.

"No, but we can live in Athens, Tennessee. It's about halfway between New York and Pecan Hill. Plus, I picked a house that's included in the city from the front, but has hundreds of acres of farms from the back. What do you say?" He boldly stated.

"I want to be with you, so I say yes." I responded.

The six of us returned to my apartment as my whole family cooed and awed once again over my little angels. While they were all busy, I rushed over to my room to start packing. I really didn't want to leave New York, but I'm a city girl who fell for a country boy, and sometimes that means we have to compromise.

When I returned to my living room, there were a bunch of rose petals leading from where I was standing all the way to Ryder. Everyone was gathered in my kitchen and they were trying hard not to stare, but they couldn't help it.

I slowly walked across the room, knowing he was going to propose again. I knew this time he meant it.

Sure enough, he took me by the hand and got down on one knee. I couldn't help but smile.

"Doll, I love you with all my heart. Will you marry me, Jada?" He asked, then whispered, "This time is for real."

"Yes, I'll marry you." I responded as he stood up, then I recited my most famous line, "Now kiss me dammit."

I giggled and I began to cry tears of joy.

He kissed me and the first thing I heard after was, "When's the wedding?"

"Better question: Where's the wedding?" My mom asked.

I looked at Ryder and he looked at me.

"It will be in Athens, Tennessee." I announced.
