6 months later, it was June 29, 2016. Ryder and I were high school graduates. My two baby boys and my baby girl decided it was time to come out.
"Jada, are you okay?" Ryder asked from my kitchen.
I screamed in pain. He came running in and nearly fell on the wet floor.
"Oh my gosh. This is happening!" Ryder began freaking out.
"These babies are coming now. We have to go to the hospital." I demanded.
The ride there in a cab was unpleasant for all of us.
They brought me into the hospital in a wheelchair. Running behind me is my family. I didn't expect them all to be here. My dad, Grandma Cadwell, Adam, May, and Emily Huntley, Ryder, Rani, Kota, Chelsea, Becky, and their husbands, Josh from work, Andy, AJ, Alec, Sadie, Berkeley, and my friend Farah came rushing in.
"Woah, only family is allowed in." The doctor ordered.
"Well I'm her mother."
Instantly I snapped my head around and there she was my mom was here.
"Mom?" I began to cry.
She hugged me and my whole family was just as shocked as me.
"I'm her sister, so I have to go in there too." Juliana said emerging from behind the 20 other people.
I cried a little more. They took me, Grandma Cadwell, Dad, Mom, Juliana, and Ryder into the delivery room.
Two hours later, the first boy was born. That's when the problems began.
"Her blood pressure is dropping." The doctor called out.
They were talking about me. I don't know what was happening at the time. I remember blacking out for a few minutes. I couldn't breathe.
I could hear my family screaming and crying. My mom was telling me to hang in there.
"She's having an allergic reaction to the epidural." One of the nurses said.
My throat was closing. They gave me some medicine and instantly, I could breathe again. I gasped for air.
"She's back." The doctor smiled.
The next baby was ready to come out.
"It's the other boy." The nurse said as she cleaned him up.
Within 2 minutes, my little girl was born and it was all over.
They cleaned up my babies and brought them over to Ryder and I. I cried tears of joy. They were so beautiful. My grandma invited everyone else in to see them. It began to grow loud.
"Shh. Guys. They just stopped crying." I whispered.
"What are you naming them?" Juliana asked.
"Everyone, meet Viviana Rosa Huntley." I looked at Ryder for approval.
His smile was enough to say yes.
"Now I have to decide which boy is Matteo Gregorio and which boy is Giovanni Luca." I said to everyone.
"Giovanni should be this little guy." AJ insisted walking over to him.
"Why do you say that?" I asked.
"I just feel it. The green eyes agree with the name." She answered.
All my little babies have different eye colors. It's weird because the doctor said there were two eggs. My girl was separate and the boys egg split into two. They should be identical and they are besides the eyes.
"Well then, it's settled. Meet Giovanni and Matteo Huntley. Matteo has the blue eyes, Giovanni has the green eyes, and my little Viviana has grey eyes." I said.
Everyone cooed and awed until the doctors took my babies to be monitored. They asked my whole family to leave because they needed to check on me after my allergic reaction and they wanted to let me rest.
"Everyone who doesn't live in New York, you can stay at my place. There's plenty of room and there's blankets and pillows in the hall closet." I announced to them all, tossing my dad the key.
They tried insisting on staying in a hotel, but I insisted they all stay at my place, where its cozy and warm and free.
Before they left, I asked for a minute with my mom and sister.
"Where have you guys been? Don't you understand how awful it's been since you left? I thought I lost you!" I screamed and cried.
"Jada, I guess it's time we told you." Mom said.
She motioned for Ryder to leave the room. He told me no.
"It's okay, honey." I squeezed his hand and he left the room.
"Sis, mom and I work for the FBI. For the past 11 months, we've been on and undercover mission to bust an international drug deal." Juliana said.
I just laughed. Yeah. Right. My 19 year old sister and my 44 year old mother aren't that cool.
"She's not kidding. We aren't like secret agents or anything, but we are FBI. Clearly, we work in the narcotics department. It's actually a lot less of a struggle as being a secret agent. We would have told you, but the investigation couldn't be talked about, nor could we compromise our covers or your safety. You can't tell anyone." My mom explained.
I didn't know what to say, but I had no other choice but to believe them, so I did. They sent Ryder back in and thanked me for letting them stay at my apartment, wait until they see that it's our old apartment.
Ryder refused to leave my side. The nurses gave him some pillows and a blanket to sleep on the chair beside me. Before I fell asleep, I thought about how many people would be in my apartment. 10 people. I have plenty of room since I got furniture.
As I contemplated, I drifted off to sleep after a long day. I anticipated seeing my bundles of joy in the morning. I also gave my dad strict orders not to let mom or Juliana out of his sight.
