Freo (Frank and Leo): A kiss

    Sorry everyone! I had a stupid huge test that I had to study for. Anyways, here's a Freo oneshot for KuroMagi. Hope you like it!

     Frank and Leo stood guard on the Argo II on the cold night. Leo had lit his hand on fire for light.
     "Frank, you know Hazel is safe with your wood, and my fireproof pouch will keep your stick safe, right?" Leo said to break the deafening silence.
     "Of course I know that," Frank answered grimly. "But, you try having something so fragile be your life force. Just because you know it's safe doesn't make you feel safe!"
     Before Leo could think of a clever retort, Frank sighed. "Sorry about that outburst. It's just. . .frustrating that my entire life force is literally a piece of wood and. . ." Frank mumbled out the last part.
     "What was that, Zhang?" Leo chuckled.
"The boy I like is irritating and immature!"Frank mentally shouted. "And you can easily kill me, but still! You're lighthearted and, when you're serious, I can relate to you,"
     "Nothing, Valdez," Frank grit his teeth.
     "Really? 'Cause I thought I heard you say 'the boy I like'? Wouldn't you like to enlighten me on who this boy is?"
     "No, Valdez. And, before you ask why I'm dating Hazel, I'm bi,"
     "I'm gay," Leo blurted.
     Leo felt as if a weight had been lifted off his chest. He wasn't specifically hiding his sexuality from his fellow shipmates, but he hadn't exactly planned to tell his friends.
     "When'd you realize you were bi?" Leo questioned.
     "Uh, It was because of someone on this ship,"
     "Same. Jason for me. Who was it for you?"
     Frank scowled, but quickly hid it. He'd imagined a romantic moment between him and Leo, not a moment when Leo admitted Jason was his crush!
"You shouldn't have imagined something so unrealistic and gotten your hopes up," Frank chided.
     A breeze blew past them, as if some god was trying to make an already awkward moment worse.
    "Before I tell you, you have to swear it on the River Styx that the words I say will stay between the two of us,"
     "Aww. Zhang is afraid that I'll spill his secrets to the whole crew," Leo chuckled.
     Frank's face noticeably reddened, but he quickly shook his head and mentally begged that Leo wouldn't figure out his secret.
     "Zhang, I swear it on the River Styx that that the words you say will stay between the two of us,"
     "Okay. . ." Frank took a deep breath, preparing himself. Then, he leaned down, kissed Leo. For a moment, Leo didn't kiss back, and Frank mentally kicked himself, but then Leo seemed to get over his shock and kissed back passionately.
     "Frank," Leo smiled slyly when they pulled apart. "A kiss and saying words are two different things,"
    Frank's eyes widened when he realized what Leo meant. "Valdez, I swear. . ."
