Chapter 15

“We’re here!” Shouted Jae Ri, as her and Jihoo arrived home.

“Oh thank goodness.” Jan Di said, detangling herself from Jun Pyo, who had fallen asleep during the movie.

“How is it going?” Jihoo asked, “I hope I didn't detain her from girls night too long.”

“Not at all. It's only 9:00, the night is still young.” Jan Di said smiling.

Later that night...

“So, Jae Ri, what's it like being with Jihoo?” Ga Eul said as they sat in a circle on the floor in Jae Ri’s room, wearing fluffy slippers and robes, and painting their nails bright colors.

“W-what? Oh!” She blushed. “Well, he's amazing…” she said, smiling.

“Really? Details, Jae Ri-ya!” She laughed, painting her nails each color of the rainbow.

“Oh.. Well, this one time we got stuck at shinhwa highschool during a storm, and I had a burn on my hand and he wrapped it for me, then we played video games, and watched movies till late in the night….then we pushed the couches together and made a bed, and fell asleep in each others arms…” She trailed off, smiling at the memory.

“How romantic!” Jan Di said, smiling. “Do you think...do you think you will marry him?”

“We’ve talked about that, actually…” she said, smiling and blushing.

"What?!"The other two women said in unison.

“Yeah… I think he wants to do it, but I think we should get to know each other a bit more first, you know? We've only been dating for 5 months…”

“Jae Ri.. I don't mean to pressure you, but I know the way he looks at you. It's the way Jun Pyo looks at Jan Di, and my Yijung looks at me… and I know how you look at him. You're in love, and it wouldn't matter if you dated him another five years.” Ga Eul said earnestly.

“You think so?” Jae Ri asked.

“I know it.” she said, smiling and squeezing her hand.

The boys were downstairs in the game room, playing a video game.

“So how’re things with Jae Ri?” Jun Pyo asked Jihoo.

“Pretty great.” He said, smiling as he landed a hit on Jun Pyo’s character.

“Aish! Anyways, do you think you’ll..?”

“Marry her? Well, she wants to wait a while longer, but I think we could talk it over more soon, she might come around.” Jihoo said, flushing slightly despite himself.

"What?!" Jun Pyo and Yijung said, dropping their controllers. Jihoo took the opportunity to land several attacks and win the game.

“Yeah, we’ve talked about it. I'm in love with her… and I flatter myself to think she's in love with me. I want to spend my life with her…” he said smiling, lost in thought. Suddenly the door flew open, and someone started down the steps.

“Yo yo yo my bros! You miss me?” Woo Bin said, smiling widely as he reached the bottom of the steps.

“Woo Bin! How have you been, man?” Yi Jung said, walking to him and clapping him on the shoulder.

“What are you doing here? I thought you were in America?” Jun Pyo said, grinning. Jihoo touched his shoulder and smiled.

“I got homesick. I'm going to be back here for a while.” He said grinning.

“So have you heard the news? Jihoo has found love at last!” Jun Pyo said, laughing and clapping Jihoo on the back.

“You're kidding! Who is she?” He said, asking Jihoo.

“Her name is Jae Ri. She's here tonight, actually. She's with the women.” He said smiling.

“I want to meet her.” He declared, walking up the steps and opening the door, just as Jae Ri went to open it from the other side.

“H-hello..? Who are you?” She asked in surprise.

“I'm Woo Bin. I suppose you're Jae Ri, Jihoo's lover?” He said, grinning as he shook her hand.

“Jae Ri-ya? Is something wrong?” Jihoo asked, taking her hand.

“No, it's just… Jan Di-ah and Ga Eul-ah are asleep, and I'm not really tired, so I thought I’d hang out with you guys, if that's okay?” She said hopefully.

“Of course.” Jun Pyo called from below, “Come on in!”
