Husbands Over Flowers

Chapter 13

Jihoo was staying the night Christmas eve, But he was staying in a separate room from Jae Ri to keep things proper. Yi Jung and Ga Eul were staying as well, they were back in town after celebrating their anniversary in America. They all decided to have sleepovers, beginning all together and then splitting up. They went out for dinner, and from there split up for a girls/guys night out.

"Ahh look at the lights! Theyre so pretty..." Jae Ri said happily as they walked around the market. Snow was just beginning to fall.
"They are very pretty... But maybe we should be getting back. Its getting dark..." Jan Di said, with a touch of worry in her voice.
"Ah, live a little Jan Di! Girls night out!" Ga Eul said spiritedly.
"If you say so..." Jan Di said, but she just couldn't shake this bad feeling she had.

They continued on for a while, until it became pitch dark.
"I think we should go now, its pretty dark.." Jan Di said again.
"You're right, we should go." Ga Eul said, pulling out her phone to call Yijung and the men go come pick them up when she heard a small shriek. She looked up in time to see Jae Ri jerked off into an alleyway.
"Jae Ri!?! Jae Ri!!!" Jan Di screamed, running to look for Jae Ri. The alley was empty, except for a door leading into an abandoned shop. Jan Di yanked out her phone to call the men when Jihoo and Jun Pyo came sprinting.
"What is it? What's wrong?! Where is Jae Ri?!" Jihoo said, looking around, panic stricken.

"W-we heard her scream a-and she was yanked into that a-alley but she's not there anymore!!" Jan Di said. Both the girls had started to cry. The two men wasted no time running up to the alley door and, upon finding it locked, Jihoo shoved Jun Pyo out of the way and kicked the door down. They both ran inside and after a moment they heard angry voices from within. There was the sound of someone getting punched over and over, and Jihoo walked out carrying Jae Ri. A moment later, Jun Pyo followed, half carrying Yijung, who had been punched several times.

"Jae Ri?! Are you okay? Can you hear me Jae Ri?!" Jan Di said, running up to Jihoo worriedly.
"Yeobo? What were you doing in there?" Ga Eul said, confused but worried for her husband. Jihoo's face changed into a mask of pure rage, and he walked off carrying Jae Ri, to his car, parked about a block away.
"Sweetie, what happened?" Jan Di asked Jun Pyo, shocked at Jihoo's sudden departure.
"This idiot," he said, pointing to Yijung, "Decided to play a prank on us. He said he had to go to the bathroom an hour ago, and we were looking all over for him when we heard you scream. Turns out, he went and disguised himself and followed you for a bit, then came here to lie in wait. In the dark, Jihoo punched him not knowing who he was. When he found out, he punched him more." Jun Pyo said, his phone out as he called his driver to come pick them up.

"If you didn't look hurt enough right now, I'd hit you myself, Yijung." Ga Eul said in disgust.
"It got out of hand, I'm so sorry. I will apologize to Jihoo and Jae Ri when she wakes up." He said, looking deeply ashamed.
"Speaking of, why is she knocked out?" Jun Pyo asked angrily.
"She passed out from fear. I didn't drug her." Jun Pyo pinched his bruised cheek,eliciting a pained grunt. The car arrived, and Jun Pyo roughly shoved Yijung in then gently helped the women in.

Jae Ri came to in the passenger seat of Jihoo's sports car. Seeing she was awake, he pulled to the side of the road.
"Are you alright? One scratch on you and I will have Yijung's head!" Jae Ri started slightly at the anger in his voice.
"Jagi, I'm fine. Yijung did that?" She asked. He simply nodded. She gently caressed his cheek, saying;
"Jagi, I am totally fine. Calm down. No harm, no foul." She said, kissing his cheek.
"If you say so....besides, I already beat Yijung up a bit..." Laughing when he saw the look on her face, "He's fine. Now, I was originally going to stop by my practice to finish up a bit of important paperwork. I can take you back home first if you'd like..."
"No! I mean, I'd like to go with you, if I wouldn't be a bother..." Jae Ri said, her face lighting up. Jihoo laughed.
"Of course not. I was hoping you'd want to come. Besides, I can check you over and make sure you're fine." Jihoo said, starting the car and kissing her cheek.
