Prison Break

With a sigh, I bob my foot up and down, watching my cameras. I'm bored, most of the criminals are in Arkham, including my sister, and I've robbed every bank in Gotham. Seriously. There's literally nowhere else for me to rob unless I want to go into somebody's house and steal stuff from them.

Even I won't stoop to that level.

I groan and  begin switching through my cameras, halting on one that catches my eye. Huh. I didn't know that I had a camera inside Arkham. Interesting. Sitting back, I tap my lips thoughtfully. Maybe I haven't robbed everywhere. With a sly grin I scoot forwards and tap into Arkhams security, quickly gaining control of the speaker system as well as the door controls. Clearing my throat, I put on my gaming headphones and bring down the mic.

"Hello? Hello, can anyone hear me?" The inmates in maximum security stand up and look around, as do the guards. I grin. Ohhh, this is gonna be good. "Why hello, Arkham Asylum! How are you this fine evening? This is the White Wolf talking to ya, offering up a grand opportunity for all you inmates." Riddler goes up to the glass door of his cell and stares up at the camera I'm looking through, giving me an amused smile. Another man in his cell follows his gaze. His long black hair shadows his face, and he's very tall and thin. That must be Scarecrow. I smile and laugh. "So, as you all know, the security in Arkham Asylum is the equivalent of a big, steaming pile of crap." The inmates give a small chuckle. "And I know that you've all broken out before on your own, but I was bored, and I wanted to have a little fun. And, as a natural performer, I wanted to turn that little fun into a LOT of fun. So, with no further ado..." I press a button on my keyboard, and all the doors slide open. I smile widely. "Be free!"

The inmates rush out, howling, and the guards begin to fire frantically into the crowd. before they can do any damage, however, they are overrun. I push off my desk and slide my swivel chair over to the living room, where I grab the remote and turn on the TV. "This is Vickky Vale reporting live from above Arkham Asylum, where there appears to be a mass breakout in process. We don't have much information right now, but- Hey, was that Batman?" I groan and roll my eyes. Of COURSE the flying rodent would get involved. Jeez. What a pain in my backside. I slide back over to the computer and decide to watch Batman through the cameras. I mean, at least it'll be interesting, having him inside an asylum full of his worst enemies. Maybe he'll finally be killed. Ha, I'm thinking too optimistically. of course he won't he's the Bat, after all. The hero. Heroes don't die. Then again, this isn't a movie.

     ------- The Next Day------

"I Cannot BELIEVE they're claiming JOKER broke everyone out! That's not fair, I did!" I grind my teeth together and run my fingers through my hair. "Dammit. Well, at least I'm not bored anymore, and that was extremely entertaining. Well, back to business as usual, I suppose, till the next mass breakout." I smile grimly and stand up, yawning. First, a nap. Then, I'll plan to rob Gotham General again. Robbing it while it's on high alert because of the breakout should be fun. It'll be a challenge, at least.
