Sjithian - A Poem To My Beloved

AU: Around the time of the Blackrock series.
Shipping: Sjin and Rythian.

Sjin gazed down at the letter handed to him by a cloaked figure, he had been waiting for this. All he needed to know was that they were safe, safe from all of the harm that could be out there. He dashed up to his room excitedly so that no peeping toms could see what had been written. As he lay down on his bed, he began shaking with anticipation of what was written on the fine parchment.

Sjin carefully unrolled the letter so that it would remain undamaged, he had kept every letter that was given to him in a small box underneath his desk. His feet twirled around as he tried not to cry from happiness. He began to read the letter.

For my dearest darling,
I am out here surrounded by gnarling.

All is as cold as ice,
Around a fire I sit huddled up thrice.

My hand shakes as I write,
And the darkness consumes the light.

Nothing can ever be easy,
But my dear, I trust you completely.

I am in woe when you are not here,
Just please don't ever begin to fear.

My love for you is stronger than diamond,
I even guard you from beyond the horizon.

In hopes of seeing you soon,
I will always swoon.

The love in life and death,
Of every heartbeat and breath.

Sjin's eyes lit up at Rythian's poetry, soon he would see Rythian again and their love will strengthen. But he would have to be patient.
