The bed felt cold until Parvis snuck into the bed just behind Strife. Strife stopped shivering and cuddled into Parv, his head tilted back into the crook of Parv's head, wanting to feel as much heat as possible from the blood mage behind him. Darkness soon began to overcome the young alien as he slipped out of consciousness.
As the sun began to rise on the horizon, Strife got up and stretched, rubbing his eyes shortly afterwards. He glanced back at the bed to see Parvis still asleep, spread out on the bed.
Strife sighed, "Oh Parvis, when do you not look stupid?"
Whilst walking through the corridors, Strife thought about how he could improve his machinery, completely blocking out the sound of Parvis getting up. Sighing, Strife leant against the 'kitchen' counter and waited for the coffee to brew, not realising that Parv stood just steps away from him. Without hesitation, Parv filled the gap between them with silent steps, before quickly wrapping his arms around the smaller blonde and resting his head on Strife's.
"Will?" Parvis asked calmly, as if wishing to say something. "What are we, we sleep in the same bed and cuddle, but you always ignore me. Answer me please, what is this?" He said gesturing between them.
"U-uh w-well Parvis, u-um," Strife stammered,"I th-think, oh look the coffee is done!" The bing of the coffee machine was heaven for Will, he'd dodged a bullet like no other.
For the rest of the day there was tension between the two of them. Every time Parv would ask about if the snuggling meant anything, Strife would ignore him as though he didn't exist. It carried on like this until the light of the sun slowly dimmed as darkness began to consume the land. Strife changed into his pyjamas in the bathroom whereas Parv changed in 'their' room as he only wore boxers and Strife would find it awkward to watch him undress. Once dressed they both clambered into bed and lay down comfortably. Strife waited patiently for Parv to curl against him, but it never happened.
Parvis lay there, hoping that Strife would break, he would need Parvis to snuggle him. And so there he lay, waiting for Strife to snap like a christmas cracker. Just moments later the bed shifted with quite a large amount of force and Parvis found a smaller, glowing figure curled up into his side, their head in the crook of his neck.
"I love y..." Strife mumbled, it was barely audible, obviously since he didn't want Parv to hear it.
"What was that Strifeykins, did you say that you love me." Parvis cunningly said, smirking as he wrapped his arm around Strife's waist.
Strife tilted his head slightly, just enough so that he could talk, " Yes Parvis, I love you." A vibrant green blush crept across his face as he began to glow, all of his ampullae flaring up on his skin.
Parvis turned his head to the side and places a gentle kiss onto Strife's forehead, "Love you to Strifey."
There they lay, huddled up together in bed, now knowing of each others feelings. They knew what they were.
