Strife's POV
Gazing up to the sky, I caught a glimpse of a leaf steadily floating towards the ground; so carefree as it wished through the wind. I lay beneath an old oak tree by the river. It was late winter and the spring flowers began to bloom. Patches of white, yellow, blue and purple dotted the ground in small clusters, as if they had been hit with tin splashes of coloured glitter.
Frost was still in some areas of the forest although it wasn't exactly cold. The stream flowed steadily about 6 feet away from my legs. Small birds tweeted away and sang their songs of beauty. Relaxation flowed into me, it stayed for a while until another wave flowed through to replace the last.
Finally I was free. I'd quit my job as the stress caused me too much harm, so I followed my doctors advice and quit. I was now carefree and planning to start my own business. I'm sure it would be much less stress than my job prior to my freeness. I began to slowly drift off to the sounds of nature until something that couldn't have been natural spread through the quiet woods.
Sounds of gentle guitar chords drifted towards my ears.
"Who is that?" I muttered under my breath. "It's beautiful."
Upon looking across the stream, my eyes caught a lanky figure leaning against a tree, just strumming away. I smiled at the talent of the man, his playing was brilliant. Stepping closer to the river, I stepped on a twig which seemed to alert the guitarist.
"Oh hello, may I help you?" They sang melodically at me.
"Oh um," I began shakily, "I just wanted to say how lovely your music is."
"Thanks, I enjoy playing here as it's quiet, I guess that's why you're here as well." They replied sweetly.
"Yeah, I recently quit my job due to stress so it's nice to relax." I admitted.
"Oh well I play in a band and have gone on a few tours recently so I just wanted to relax and strum away. I'm Alex, Alex Parvis." Alex smiled brightly, "but you can call me Parvis or Parv."
"I'm William, William Strife."
As the river was to wife for us to shake hands, we simply just stood there, smiling for a while. It was nice to have someone to smile with, someone who had a smile instead of a stupid smirk (Yes, I am talking about Ridgedog).
Parvis stood up and leant his guitar against the gnarled tree behind him. Slowly, he walked closer to the stream, so close that he was almost in it. After a while of us just staring at eachother, I tilted my head and looked up an down his body. He did the same.
Parv had a well proportioned body: he was tall, but not too tall; his arms and legs were thin, but he wasn't anorexic; his eyes, although kinda colourless, seemed to glow and draw me in. Basically, he was beautiful.
"Wanna walk and talk?" He suggested quietly.
"Sure, but we are on opposite sides Parvis," I pointed out.
"We don't have to be though do we Strife." He began walking deeper into the woods.
I followed his path on the my side of the river. It was as though it was a barrier between us and he was trying to find a weakness. He suddenly stopped at a point where someone had carefully placed stepping stones. A tree had grown in the middle of the river and hadn't been marked. Parvis looked me in the eyes and smiled, before pulling out a pocket knife and gesturing towards the tree. I knew what he wanted, and I wanted it to.
"Meet you halfway?"

So I kinda put a fantasy sort of twist on this but I think it's ok. Sorry I didn't put the suggested, but I kinda forgot who suggested it.
Anyway, I have a lot of request so the requests will be closed for about 2ish weeks.
Love you all!
