It was two years ago. He's probably forgotten all about me. I'm the one who told him he should get out there, I encouraged him to do YouTube and vine. I told him to follow his heart and do what he loves. We were best friends for 9 years and lovers for 4. That's all in the past now he's moved on with his life. I pulled into the driveway of my parents house. They got really upset when I decided to move out to California. I got out of the car and filled my lungs with fresh air. "Y/n" I heard a voice call from behind me. It was Jack J. "Hey how are you its been a long time you've gotten taller" I say hugging him. "How's Jack" I asked letting go of him. "He's still being a dumbass as always. I still don't get why you two broke up." "It just didn't work out" I say sighing. "Jack says the same thing, it just didn't  work out, he's honestly a mess yesterday he fell asleep on the couch and he was saying your name in his sleep" he looked down at the ground. "Y/n?" I looked up and I was faced to face with Jack. "Well I'm gonna leave you two alone now" Jack J said running into his house next door. The grass folding under his feet. "What happened to us" Jack asked his voice trembling. "We fell apart" "I know this isn't a situation where we have fallen out of love because I'm still madly in love with you, I never forgot about you" We were so close our for heads were touching. "Here's the truth if you don't feel the same back, my heart would fall apart if someone said your name" "I still love you" I say wrapping my arms around his neck as I buried my head into his chest. He began to stroke my hair.

I remember my grandma babbling about how death is inevitable you could die 40 years from now or 40 minutes from now. The irony was when she went to bed that night she didn't wake up. She didn't wake up at all. We all die at some point we will all have our last breath and our last look at the world. I just didn't think that my time would come so soon. "So hello from the other side I must of called a thousand times" Me and jack sang as he drove. We laughed and talked until a truck swerved in front of us. Everything when white it felt like I was traveling back in time.

➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖
I saw myself holding my newborn sister for the very first time. "Why does she sleep all the time" 6 year old me asked. "Because she needs her rest to grow" my mom replied as I stared into my sisters gray eyes.

➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖
That memory faded away and it was replaced to the first time I met Jack. "Y/n why don't you go play out side I hear the new family has a boy your age go over there and see if he want to play" my mom said pushing me out the door. I built up the courage to go and talk to him. "Hi I'm y/n" was all I could say. "Hi my name is Jack" he said flashing his adorable smile. "Do you want to play with me?" He asked. "Yeah" I giggled.

➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖
I was pushed against the lockers by the crowd of people pushing there way to get to class. I sunk down on the floor as I waited for the mob to pass. Jack slumped Dow against the lockers with me "what are you doing down here" he said smiling. "Waiting for the crowd to die down" I say smiling back.

"Jack I don't dance" I laughed as he tried to get me out of my chair. In my opinion I don't know why there should be a seventh grade dance it's just stupid. "Please" he said giving me puppy dog eyes. I shook my head. "Fine looks like I'm just gonna have to pick you up". He scooped me up and set me down on my feet. "Fine I'll dance" I laughed.

➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖

JACK HOW COULD YOU" I screamed in tears. "I DONT SEE WHAT THE BIG DEAL IS" he yelled back. "I HATE HER WHY DID YOU ASK HER OUT?!, SHE HATES ME I HATE HER" I yelled. "SO I LIKE HER WHY CANT YOU ACCEPT THAT" "YOU KNOW WHY I CANT ACCEPT THAT ITS BECAUSE I LOVE YOU JACK I LOVE YOU". "WELL I LOVE YOU TO I ASKED HER OUT BECAUSE IT HURT ME THAT YOU WOULD NEVER LOVE ME LIKE I LOVED YOU"

Then I opened my eyes to find Jack inches apart from me sprawled out on the cold hard street. His eyes were closed and there was a pool of blood around him. I noticed most of it came from me. I tried to keep my eyes open but it was nearly impossible as each of my breaths got shorter. It got harder to inhale, I looked at the world for the last time, closed my eyes and took my last breath
