"I'm going to miss you" his arms were around my neck and I took in his warm embrace.
"I'll miss you more" he rubs my back and I tighten my grip around his waist.
We slowly back away from each others embraces. Hayes was moving away to Germany for 4 years and today was the last day he was here.
I heard a car beep from outside. I knew it was Nash coming to pick up Hayes.
He gives me one last hug before he walks out the door. I watch him leave as tears left my eyes.
"See you in 4 years" I yell out to Hayes as he's opening the car door.
"See you in 4 years" he replies hopping in the car and driving away.
"I love you" I whisper as I watch Nash's cars leave.

I sat in the small airport chairs waiting for Hayes's plane to land. I scroll through my phone until I hear the desk lady call Hayes flight number.
I jump up and look over the crowd of people. I suddenly see a familiar face and a wide smile appears across my face.
"Hayes" I yell
His eyes snap to mine and he starts running towards me.
I crash into him pulling him tightly to me. I begin to cry in his shoulder taking in every moment.
"I love you" I say looking up at him.
He smiles and leans towards me "I love you more" he whispers in my ear.
I smile and attached my lips to his.
Maybe some people are worth waiting forever for.
