When I woke up, I saw a notification of my phone stating that my messaging server was overloaded. Great. Looking at the messages, I saw that Bree had used her super speed to text "omygodthankyou!" over and over again. For what seemed like hours on end. I guess getting Chase back was that important. If only he could stay with them forever...
Clearing them all out, I got up and, remembering (with joy) that today was Sunday, not Monday, decided to visit the trio. Besides you can't have too much happiness in life.
An hour later, Fern, Heather, and I arrived at the island to see it totally decked out. For something. The commons area was split into thirds, and each third spilled into the connecting hallway. The third on the left seemed to be decorated for Hanukkah, the middle third for Christmas, and the rightmost third for Kwanza.
"Oh dear," I muttered, and at that very moment, Adam, Bree, and Chase came out of a hole in the floor, arguing.
"Oh dear," Heather muttered in the same fashion, pointing at the hole elevator. Adam, Bree, and Chase then stopped arguing and turned their back to each other.
"Oh dear," Fern muttered. Mr. Davenport then came in to the area.
"What is going on?" he shouted.
"Adam, Bree, and Chase are being Adam, Bree, and Chase?" I guessed.
"Look," Fern said, "This time of year isn't the time to argue about what holiday to celebrate."
"You know what," Bree considered, "You're right." Bree used her super speed to distribute the decorations evenly throughout the academy.
"There," she said. Suddenly, a notification popped up on Mr. Davenport's phone.
"My account was hacked?!" he exclaimed.
"We should be going," I suggested nervously. We took a couple cautious steps back, then ran into the hydra loop.

I connected a couple of wires. Suddenly the puzzle pieces together.
"I got it!" I exclaimed, "I got it!!!"
