So, my mom was capable of socializing successfully. Surprising. But, I took her comment about the people she met and put it away. I was excited to get back down to the lab!
The not so secret elevator doors opened and the excitement on my face melted off and splashed on the floor, with a look of horror revealed. Tasha had ruined the lab! It had an industrial sized sewing machine, an enormous wardrobe, and Adam, Bree, and Chase's capsules had been turned into Tasha's personal care stations! The lab was ruined!
"What the heck happened here?" I shrieked in horror.
Almost as if reading my mind, Tasha responded, "It's not totally ruined. Watch." She pressed a button on a tablet and the compartmentalized lab floor replaced itself with the old lab setup.
"Whoa!" Chase marveled, "How did you do that?"
"And why didn't you replace Chase?" Adam asked.
"The three kids I met helped me set this up," Tasha explained, "And helped me become more technical."
"I highly doubt that," Mr. Davenport and Chase muttered.
"By the way," Tasha continued, "The three of them should be here any minute! They come every Saturday." Just then the doorbell rang. Bree immediately sped Tasha upstairs to the door, while the rest of us rushed to the elevator. I have to admit, I'm pretty excited to meet these kids.
When we go upstairs, Tasha and Bree were chatting with them.
"OMG!" said one of the girls, who had red hair and freckles, "Is the Chase Davenport! OMG! He is sooooo much hotter than he is credited for! OM-" she was cut off by the boy slapping his hand over his hand over her mouth saying, "Okay okay! We've heard enough, Fern." He was tall with short brown hair. He was the first guy who had ever stepped into this house that actually had a good haircut. Chase could take some pointers.
"Yeah," the other girl said who I assumed was Heather. She had long golden hair and braces. She continued, "Obviously, Adam is the cute one! I mean, look at-" She was also cut off by Garrett slapping his other hand over Heather's mouth.
"And this is why I have two hands!" he declared. Bree started glaring at him until he said, "Okay okay. You're kinda cute too. There. Happy?" he muttered, taking his hands off the girls' mouths, wiping them off, and holding them out, saying, "Formal introduction. Garrett Anthony, 13, Mission Creek."
Going along with his gig, I shook his hand and responded, "Leo Dooley, 17, Davenport Bionic Academy."
"So," Big D said, "Who wants a tour of the Lab de Davenport?!"
"Sure!"
"Absolutely!"
"Why Not?"
Everyone rushed over to the elevator, Fern dogging Chase and Heather dogging Adam. Garrett stayed towards the back of the group.
"So," I said, "Not interested in Bree?"
"Nope," Garrett confirmed.
"Well, the girls are head over heels for my brothers," I mused.
"Are you kidding me?" Garrett responded, "It's ridiculous The ! Fern won't believe in Chabrina either."
"I feel you," I comforted, "Bree's had boy obsessions as well."
"Well," Garrett said, changing the subject, "Let's see if Mr. Davenport is as self absorbed as the media says he is."
"Trust me," I confirmed, "He's more."
Garrett and I hopped into the elevator to go down. He was actually a pretty cool guy.

So, my original characters finally have come into play! Chern (Chase and Fern) and/or Adher (Adam and Heather) will be developed later, and the friendship that has already started between Leo and Garrett will continue to develop as well. Also, Bree glaring at Garrett until he said she was cute is for a reason to be found out later (mostly because I don't know why she did it).
Finally, even though Leo criticized it, I think that Chase's hair is fine.
Enjoy!
