Hades perspective

I chose sooner, I didn't want to keep something like this from her, she deserves to know. She would hate me even more than she does now if I tell her later. I asked Zeus to accompany me, since he is her father. We thought it would be best for her to think that her mother knows that I captured her. If she knew that her mother doesn't know, she'll  hate me more. We excused ourselves from the meeting and prepared to go to the Underworld. I said to Sebastian to tell Persephone to head to the throne room. Zeus and I teleported ourselves in the throne room and there she was, admiring the interior.

I coughed, "Persephone, I want you to meet Zeus, my brother."

"Good afternoon Lord Zeus," she bowed to him. He suddenly embraced her into a tight hug, "It's so good to finally meet you," she just awkwardly patted his back and nervously laughed.

"We have a lot to talk about, so you might want to sit down," she eyed the throne that was made for her, she looked at me questionably and I nodded. She took a seat on the throne while we stood in front of her.

She got comfortable and asked, "Well, what do you wanna talk about?"

Well, here it goes.

Persephone's perspective

"Well, what do you wanna talk about?" I asked. They both looked hesitantly at each other, I started getting scared, and I don't know why.

"Ahh, well, you see... around eighteen years ago, Demeter, you know her right?" Zeus said and I slowly nodded. "I was a bit drunk and she just happened to be there, so we kinda... hooked up" Zeus slightly laughed at the end.

"Why are you telling me this? So that I could know more Greek 'mythology' stories that haven't been written down recently by humans?" I asked confused.

"Not really, but back to my story. A few months after that, she came up to me, telling me she's pregnant with my child. Immediately, I thought of how this would ruin my FINALLY happy marriage with Hera after all the other women I have impregnated in the past. Demeter didn't want our child to grow up with our family drama, and preferred a mortal life with our daughter until she was ready to know her true identity. I agreed, that we would keep this a secret from everyone, and she could live on earth with our daughter," he spoke softly.

"What does it have to do with me though?" I asked confused. They were both quiet, then Hades decided to break the ice.

"That daughter is you, Persephone."

Wow, my life is just great, first I get kidnapped by Hades and forced to get married him, then I found out I'm Zeus and Demeter's daughter, what else is there, I'm part sea lion?

"So you're basically telling me that you," I point to Zeus," the  God of the Sky and King of Olympus, and Demeter, the Goddess of Agriculture, are my parents?" Zeus, who apparently is my father, nodded. No wonder my mother's nickname was Deme (but pronounced as Demi), it was shorten for Demeter.

"Does my mother know that he," I stared at Hades slightly disgusted" kidnapped me?" I asked Zeus.

"Yes," him and Hades looked at each other briefly before looking at me, " she does."

"She's just been very busy with the season that she hasn't got time to visit us," Hades said. My mother choose to pick the season over she daughter who was kidnapped by her brother, well now I know where her priorities lies.

"Wait back to you being my father, so you were basically ashamed of me huh?" I laughed but it held no humor. He was about to protest but I held my hand up to shush him, "Mother told me that you died out in the sea, she told me that you were a kind man, what a bunch of BULL!!! You know, it would have been great to experience what it was like to have a father, but you decided to be selfish and abandoned me for your already damaged marriage," anger flowed through my veins.

"How dare you insult my marriage, that is none of your business," Zeus growled.

"Of course it is my business, you left me to save your pathetic marriage."

"Both you of calm down. Persephone, you have to respect your mother's decision too, she didn't want you to grow up with all this family drama, until you were ready. And Zeus, she has the right to be angry at you." Hades gave us a pointed look.

"What about you huh?" I asked. "You probably knew that I was Demeter's, your sister's daughter, yet you abducted me. Too what, spite her?" I scoffed.

"No, I just found out today, I thought you were a worker for Demeter, I suspected that you were her daughter, but I thought otherwise because she would have told us. Turns out that you were her daughter" he responded.

"Does this mean I'm, like, a Goddess too?" I asked incredulous.

"Yes, you're the Goddess of Springtime, and soon to be Queen of the Underworld," my father said.
