I was pulled away from my sleep by a familiar voice, "Miss, it's time to wake up, dinner is almost ready" Sebastian seems to be acting as an alarm clock. "I just wanted you too know, this is Cora, she will be your personal servant when you are present in the Underworld," a girl about nineteen, stepped up from behind him and bowed. "It is a pleasure to meet you Miss Persephone," she said.
"Oh please, you don't have to call me Miss. Persephone would be just fine," I told both of them, and they nodded. I politely asked Sebastian if he could leave so I could get ready. I kindly asked Cora if she could choose some clothes for me while I took a shower. Once I finished my shower, I walked out to find clothes on my bed, "I hope you like the clothes I picked for you, if you're not pleased with it, I'll gladly get something else for you," she said fearfully, looking down.
I sighed, I really didn't want her to act like I was her master and she my servant, "Cora, these clothes will do perfectly, thank you. But please, don't be scared or shy towards me, I would love it if we act like friends. Since there is probably not a lot of people in this place, I would love to have a friend, to help me around," I said.
"Oh, are you sure you want to be friends with me? I've never had a friend before so this will be new to me," she looked up at me.
"Of course I wanna be your friend, and I also have never had a friend before, so we'll learn together," I smiled at her. "So since it's getting dark, do you think you could give me a tour of this place tomorrow?" I asked her.
"Sure, glad to be of assistance," she said.
"Okay, let's head downstairs to eat," I widely smiled.

I took a seat at the long dinner table and urged Cora to sit next to me, "I cannot, servants aren't allowed to sit at this table and I have already eaten so it's fine. I am gonna go tell them to serve dinner, I'll be right back." And there I was, sitting at an empty table in a silent room. Then the doors were pushed open, rather loudly. Hades saw me and took the head seat of the table next to me. "Morning," I greeted him politely.
"Good afternoon, have you met Cora yet?" he asked.
"Yes and she is lovely, thank you for assigning her to me," I thanked him.
"Gladly," he said while smiling, and let me tell you, his smile was beautiful. His straight white teeth could almost blind me, and him smiling alone made my stomach fill with butterflies. What is happening to me? Why is he making my stomach fill with butterflies? Oh my god, please tell me that I'm not starting to develop something for him, you're not starting to develop something for him. Oh good, I don't want feelings for him, not when I already have my plan.
The servers came out with dinner, it looked delicious as usual, and placed it in front of us. I began to devour it but I felt eyes staring into the side of my face. I turned to Hades and I, with my mouth full, asked, "What?"
He smiled and lightly chuckled, "Oh nothing, ignore me, just resume eating," he looked back to his food, still smiling. I did what he said and ignored him, but it was pretty hard too. His eyes held an emotion that filled me with curiosity. And his face was just so beautiful, I couldn't help but stare at him when he wasn't looking. I haven't really acknowledged his appearance, and I don't know why I am now. I really need to stop thinking about him like that, I gotta try to convince myself that he's a horrible person. Good luck with that, my subconscious whispered.
"Oh shut up," I groaned.
"Me?" Hades asked, utterly confused.
"No, not you, me. I was talking to myself." I assured him.
"Alright, not like that's weird or anything," he shrugged.
"It's not," I argued.
"I didn't say it was weird, I actually said the opposite if you couldn't tell," he winked.
I guess being nice to him won't be as hard as I thought.
