Hades perspective
I smiled as I walked away from her room. She forgives me. I don't know how or why, but I'll make sure she doesn't regret it. I began to make my way to the throne room. In the back of the room was a tall, black throne rimmed with gold and a few jewels here and there. Next to it was a slightly smaller throne, similar to the larger one, but with a bit more jewels and rimmed with some gold. That is where Persephone will sit, next to me, as my wife and Queen. I began grinning like a madman at the thought. Finally, after all these centuries of loneliness, I have someone to fill the coldness next to me.
"Hades, your presence is needed in Olympus immediately," Sebastian informed me telepathically.
"Alright, tell them I'll be there in a second," I responded and cut off the connection.
I closed my eyes, channelling my powers and imagined I was in the Olympus throne room. I opened my eyes and saw all the twelve thrones formed in a semi circle, plus mine. My throne is only added when I inform them that I am coming here. It's almost like the one in my palace, but not as grand. It looked odd next to the shiny, bright thrones next to it, but I couldn't care less.
"HADES, BROTHER, HOW HAVE YOU BEEN?" My youngest annoying brother, Zeus, exclaimed and gave me a hug. It's weird that he's the youngest, since he makes himself look older then me.
"Oh hush, we saw each other just a few days ago, it hasn't been that long," I pushed him away.
"Shut up, you love me," he rubbed his hand on my head, messing up my hair.
I grumbled under my breath, "You wish," while fixing my hair. He just laughed and walked away.
"Ignore him," a voice chuckled behind me, I turned around and saw a grinning Hera, "Long time no see. It's good to see you."
I gave her a big hug, "Same here," I smiled at her and went to greet the others.
"WHERE'S OUR FAVORITE UNCLE," shouted Apollo and Artemis at the same time, must be a twin thing.
I shook my head, laughing, "WHERE ARE MY FAVORITE NIECE AND NEPHEW," I shouted back with the same enthusiasm.
They attacked me with hugs and kept fighting over who liked me better, these two are a handful. I rubbed their heads and pushed them towards their thrones. I greeted my oldest sister, Hestia, briefly, we don't talk that much.
I felt a tap at my shoulder and I turned just to see Aphrodite, "Oh, it's just you."
"Yes it is, you could know some more parts of me if you'd like," she "seductively" winked.
"Like I have said many times before, no, so go away," I deadpanned.
"One day, I will get you in bed," she huffed and stomped away. In your dreams. "Sorry about her, she's always like that," Hephaestus said, scratching his neck. I honestly felt sorry for him, having to be stuck with a flirt and cheater.
"She's no problem, it's good to see you man," I patted his shoulder and we made some small talk before I went to greet some others.
I walked over to my niece, Athena, and greeted her shortly, she isn't too social. Only speaks a lot when it has to something to do with her specialties. I also gave her the drawing Persephone's dress for her to create later.
Then came Ares, the loud obnoxious one. I didn't want to greet him mainly because all he talks about is his strength and past battles that he's won. I greeted him briefly, quickly trying to get away from him.
I approached Hermes, "Hey, haven't seen you in like what, a decade or two?"
"Yeah, I've been pretty busy with delivering messages and such. I was planning to visit you in the Underworld soon," he nodded. We talked for a while before he had to answer a call.
"Hey, brother" Dionysus whispered in my ear as he hugged me. I think he's a tad drunk, cause he hardly ever hugs me. I noticed how Demeter wasn't here, she was usually one of the early ones.
Finally, I saw Poseidon, my other young brother. He smelled strongly like sea water, and had a weird fishing hat on his head. "Hades, it's been too long," he smiled widely.
"Very," I gave him a tight hug and we went to our seats. The chit chat stopped when Zeus started loudly speaking.
"Okay, many of you don't know why I called a meeting today. As you can see, Demeter is not here, frankly, no one can get a hold of her. I did some digging on her location. Right now she is in Fairbanks, Alaska, and to put it bluntly, she's gone crazy." he sighed, then continued, "She hasn't been doing her duties with the crops so they are all withering and the weather has decreased immensely all over the world. Yesterday, I was able to talk with her for a bit, her... daughter Persephone, is missing," everyone was quiet.
"SHE HAS A DAUGHTER? WHY DIDN'T SHE TELL US? HOW COME WE DIDN'T NOTICE HER PREGNANCY?" everyone shouted out different things. All I could think about was the fact that my Persephone was Demeter's daughter, and how I took her from Demeter.
"And now for some bigger news," he rubbed his temple and looked at the ground, "she's also my daughter," Zeus added and all the jaws in the room fell to the ground. Hera was the first to talk.
"YOU CHEATED ON ME? AGAIN? I don't even know why I put up with you," she slapped him on the cheek(might I add, very hard) and walked out. While everyone was still talking about the news, I pulled Zeus out of the room, where no one could hear us.
"What is wrong with you?" I whispered furiously, " just a week ago, you helped me come up with a plan to kidnap her, and make her my wife. YOU WANTED HER TO GET KIDNAPPED AND FORCED TO BE MY BRIDE?," I asked astonished.
"Calm down, I just thought you two would be a better pair then who ever she could have ended up with. You guys will thank me later on," Zeus waved me off, but I just glared at him.
"How come you and Demeter never told anyone about her?"
"Well, when she got pregnant, she told me and I obviously wanted to keep it a secret from Hera. She said she wanted our daughter to grow up away from our "dramatic family", and live a mortal life, a "normal" life she calls it," he scoffed. "But anyways, we both decided that she and our daughter would live on Earth and we wouldn't ever tell anyone about the birth of Persephone. I kept tabs on Persephone, to make sure she was okay," he finished.
"This is just, wow, so much to take in. So she doesn't know who her father is and who her mother actually is?" I shot another question at him.
"No, she doesn't," he paused, "but she'll probably find out sooner or later."
