Hope you guys like it.

Well shit.

I really hope she doesn't hate me now.

I just couldn't stand to see Keller Thompson try to woo Serena, and the worst part was that she fell for it. She fell for his good looks, smooth charm, and player ways. He's no good for her. All he's going to do is break her heart, and I don't want that for her. But it just made me so angry, and I didn't want to blow up on Serena, so I just decided that I would ignore her.

I know now that that wasn't the greatest idea I've ever had.

I know I acted like a dick to Serena at brunch, I get it. I didn't need any more reminders.

As soon as the girls were out of sight, Noah, seemingly awoken from his hungover daze, shoved me. "What the hell, man? What were you thinking? How could you be such a dick to her?" I only growled in response. "I'm sorry, okay? I just couldn't look at her without blowing up over fucking Keller Thompson," I answered my best friend honestly. He sighed. "Look, I know that you were jealous, and that you hate that guy, and that you really like her, but you had to know that this was coming. She's not even your girl, you've been too much of a pussy to make a move on her! You can't just expect that no one else would find her hot besides you," Noah pointed out. He was right, as usual. "Now what do I do? She probably hates me now, she's no doubt going to call Keller or he's going to call her, they're going to go on a few dates and he's going to sweep her off her feet then break her heart. That's what's going to happen, Noah, and I can't stand to think of it! She deserves so much better than that! She deserves someone who will take her out, show her off, hold her close, shower her with love and affection, treat her like a princess. Keller Thompson is incapable of thinking about anything other than his own dick." I finished my rant, out of breath.

Noah only looked at me smugly. "You are so whipped, man. And you've known her for 4 days! You've got it bad!" He teased me. "Mymy's in loooove!" He cooed at me. I slapped him. I was most definitely not in loooove. I just kinda maybe sort of had a tiny little crush on Serena.

Not that I would ever admit it to Noah, of course.

But I knew that I just had to do something to win her back. Not to make her fall in love with me or anything, all I wanted was for her to forgive me for being a complete asshole to her at the cafe. So, naturally, I did the most obvious thing I could think of.

I bought a bouquet of sunflowers down the street, texted Ryann for her address, and rang her doorbell with a sheepish smile.

When Serena opened her door, I resisted the urge to gasp. She was absolutely beautiful. Her golden hair was naturally wavy. She was wearing a little more makeup than usual, her long, dark eyelashes making her eyes pop. She wore a white high neck crop top with lace detailing and high waisted black skinny jeans with brown ankle boots, definitely not usual lazy afternoon attire. Maybe she's going on a date, my subconscious noted. I couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy when I thought that Keller may have already asked her out on a date. It seems like something he would do.

I could tell by the look in her bright blue-green eyes that she was debating slamming the door in my face. But she sighed in defeat when she saw the hopeful look on my face.

"Hey," she greeted me simply.

"Hi," was the only response I could come up with.

She scanned my appearance: the bouquet in my hand, my tshirt and jeans, and the way I tried to style my hair in a non-styled way. The corners of her lips twitched up in amusement. "What are you doing here, Myles?" she asked me the obvious question.
