Hope you guys like it.
Halloween was over a month ago, so why the hell were we dressing up?
"Come on, S, we didn't even get to do anything fun for Halloween this year because it was on a Monday," Lindsey whined.
"We went to a party that Saturday!" I objected.
"But it got rolled! Serena, please, we know you want an excuse to pull out that Harley Quinn costume you've been hiding," Cassidy teased.
"Who's even throwing this party anyway?" I asked, changing the subject.
Finals were over today, thank God, and it was the week before Christmas, a Friday, and some dipshit was throwing a costume party.
"My friend from Encinitas High, and don't change the subject missy, I still want to see this costume!" Riley looked pointedly at me. I rolled my eyes and pulled it out of my bag so they would stop harassing me.
"Damn, girl," Cassidy whistled. "When you said it was hot, you weren't kidding!"
"Myles is going to be all over you tonight in that," Siena winked.
I groaned. "Don't even start with me on that," I warned. Riley laughed. "They almost kissed again, but Serena's mom was a major cockblock." I punched her in the stomach.
"Guys, stop," I told them. "Myles and I aren't gonna happen, no matter how I feel about him. It feels like every time something happens that brings us together, he just pushes me away even more."
"That's just Myles for you," Siena comforted me. "He's still sure that he's in love with Riley. Sorry Ri, but you need to talk to him about that." She called her out, and Riley's eyes bulged.
"Have you ever talked to him about his feelings for you?" I asked her. I wasn't asking out of jealousy, or out of anger or resentment. I knew that Myles still cared so much about her, and I feel like all he needed was a little closure.
"I thought getting together with Max was sign enough that I just didn't think of him like that!" Riley protested.
"That's not what she means, Ri. You need to talk to him. He needs to know why he wasn't good enough." Lindsey explained. She sighed.
"Fine. I'll talk to him soon. But I just don't want to ruin tonight, okay? Can we just forget about boy problems for a little while?" She pleads with us.
"That's rich coming from you, Riley," Siena teases. "As if you have any problems with Max." We all hum in agreement. Riley rolled her eyes, but she looked distracted for a moment, fiddling with her thumbs.
"Regardless, S, we're gonna make you look so good that no guy will be able to keep their hands off you." Lindsey smiles devilishly.

I have to admit, Lindsey made good on her promise.
My Harley Quinn costume, although the idea is less than original, fit me perfectly. I was clad in a lacy black bodysuit with red sheer sides, metallic purply-blue spandex with ripped tights underneath and a silver belt, black boots, and a black choker. My hair was in two pigtails, and Lindsey and Cassidy dip-dyed them in pink and blue.
Cassidy and Siena were a devil and an angel, of course, Riley a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader, and Lindsey used this as an excuse to wear a deep-V dress, thigh-highs, and tie her hair into two mini buns with chopsticks. Who knows what the fuck she was.
