Hope you guys like it.
It's been 2 weeks since I broke the heart of the girl of my dreams.
It's been 2 weeks of fast walks down the hallway, turning into bathrooms randomly, and going off-campus for lunch.
It's been 2 weeks since I've last spoken to Serena, heard her voice, laugh, seen her smile.
It's been 2 weeks since my heart's been broken.
And it was all my fault.

"Myles, come on, you need to get out of the house!"
I shrugged in defeat as Noah stood in my doorframe, begging me to go to a party with him. It was a Friday night, a Friday night that I should've been spending with my girlfriend, but I just had to go and fuck it all up.
She probably hates me now.
After spending the weekend moping at Noah's house, I'd gone back home where I went back to doing what I apparently do best.
Throwing myself a pity party.
It felt like summer all over again.
"I get it, you're heartbroken. We've all been there. But just sitting here like a potato, sulking, like you have been for the past two weeks, isn't going to do anyone any good."
"And getting trashed will?" I finally spoke up.
"I didn't say to get trashed! I said to go socialize, like a normal human being."
I thought about it for a moment. I mentally caved. I guess one night of social interaction couldn't hurt too much.
"I'm not drinking."
"Perfect." Noah smirked evilly. "You can be my DD."
I groaned. Just another night of Noah getting shitfaced and me having to clean up his puke in my car.
What a fun night this will be.

It wasn't even 10:00, and Noah could barely stand on his own two feet.
Ryann was nowhere to be found, his arm was slung over my shoulder, he was stumbling around, dragging me with him as he slurred brief conversations. I had to keep all my focus and strength on holding him up until I could pass him onto Ryann.
But that's when I saw her.
She walked in through the front door, and I swear, everyone's eyes turned to her.
Well, mine did, at least.
She arrived with Ella, and Ryann had gone outside to greet them. She was busy looking around, so I took it as an opportunity to let my eyes drag up and down her body, take in the beautiful sight that was Serena.
She looked edgy tonight, wearing a tiny strapless white bandage wrap crop top with horizontal dark grey stripes, paired with matching shorts with vertical stripes, a black leather jacket, and heeled light brown ankle boots. Her legs looked like they went on for miles, and I wasn't the only guy who noticed. I saw more than a few heads turn when she walked through the door, and I didn't like it one bit. Her dirty blonde hair was straightened, eyes looking a stunning shade of green framed by endless dark lashes.
But when her eyes met mine, the world stopped turning on its axis.
And when she looked away first, I felt my heart break all over again.
